Haven't seen my sisters dog in only four days, and she sniffed my hand like she didn't know who I was.

Maybe it was the alcohol that spilled on my fingers.

Dogs are dumb.

Depends on the dog& I've had some that are smarter then a lot of people.

One figured out how to open latched doors with her nose, flip up toilet seats for a drink, and somehow got to a big box of chocolates that was way up on a shelf out of reach (Wish I had a camera set up for that one.)

Protip, if you ever have a dog and they find the chocolate, burn toast and feed it to them. It's supposed to bind to the chemicals that kill them and make it inert.

Also hydrogen peroxide if you need to make them puke. Like if they get in someone's pocketbook and find pills.

That still makes her smart though. You can't blame a dog for not knowing something that is bad for her smells so good.

Humans smoke and drink in spite of knowing better, and yet would be less able to find where the junk is hidden, so who is dumb?

I can find where stuff is hidden, process of elimination, easy.
