They include both the new scenes and the lengthened versions of existing scenes and yes, they were shown in the theaters worldwide and on TV.

Palps' overreliance on Force Lightning is his greatest weakness.

If a beaten up cripple made Palps electrocute himself just by picking him up, imagine what a lightstrike will do.

what feats does the Balrog have? yeah none, what feats does Saruman have other than beating up Gandalf?

Palpatine barely has feats too.
