Option 1: Vol.2 is canon and even the most casual reader can see how pointless it is to salvage any sort of supposed "multiversally singular" status of Yahweh, Elaine, Lucifer or Michael. Option 2: You want to pretend vol.2 is set in another alternate universe, starring alternate versions of these characters? Welp, that dispels that supposed "multiversally singular" status of their's inherently. That's a nice ole catch-22 you set yourself up there.
