Weakest DC character that can beat Gremmy Thoumeaux

His power on paper is insanely broken on-paper but in practice he's a gigantic pussy.

pretty much 👆

No

the answer to these is always Batman.

If he can't see an opponent when the battle starts, why not just make that person visible?

Because......he has no idea how that person is invisible? He could be intangible and hiding in the Earth, or microscopic, or just too fast to see - Gremmy has no idea why he can't see that person.

Put it this way, if he was fighting The Atom (as an example, read carefully) and Ray suddenly disappears (which means Gremmy can't see him)....him imagining 'oh, I want my opponent to be visible' means nothing. Because Ray isn't invisible, he's just too small to be seen.

Let me guess, Deadman will blitz an entire football field in a nano second and attack him? He can also create multiple versions of himself that has its own personality, etc and the same power level as him... he can create beings with a thought also (he created someone that had the same powers as forgetmenot). All done during a fight. Can Deadman possess multiple people?

Glad you asked.

Yes, he can possess multiple people 🙂 Done during a fight, too!

Prometheus dies.

Again, how, if Gremmy is unable to form coherent thoughts? It's not TP, btw, unless you want to argue Prometheus has superpowers (hint: he does not lmao). He can also hypnotise people haha:

So yeah, he has a number of ways to just stop Gremmy from making any coherent thoughts. Not telepathy, I was very careful. Are you adding more stips again?

How're they going to lock eyes an entire football field away? Jericho powers must be snatching his eyes out and throwing them across a field at his opponent? He moves at light speed as well?

You can make eye contact across a football field, sure.

Nope, it's not.

Looks like we have a winner. Prometheus 🙂

This disrespect towards Kenpachi Zaraki's power here in this thread...

But why would he keep it like that? Once the fight starts off, all he needs to do is making his character see able. Why let himself be vulnerable when he can prevent it from happening. He could easily just say "turn into a goat" which would end the fight tbh. He turned someone bones into cookies as soon as the fight started. Why would he fight any different here?

Same applies here for Deadman. Turn him into a human or goat as soon as the bell ring. He would be a complete idiot to let this last against someone he can't see.

What kind of people can make eye contact an entire football field away?

Prometheus dies.

it's general disrespect towards lame ass shonen manga, it's geared toward low iq simpletons like carver

i remember reading bleach when i was in high school, a chapter only takes 30 seconds to finish, no manga has more filler than bleach.

Wait I thought he was cloning himself? Is that not happening now?

You miss my point - he doesn't know that his opponent is invisible, lol. And thus, can't imagine to make them visible.

How fast is Gremmy? Give me actual numbers, please.

The thing about Bleach is that everyone is invisible (and intangible) by virtue of being a spirit. So I doubt Deadman's invisibility will be of much use here, since it's technically the same form of invisibility.

- Bleach #9

Moreover, when Gremmy was invisible (even to spirits) when watched the fight between the Yachiru and Guenael he was invisible. Moreover, Guenael (who Gremmy created) had the power to become invisible, intangible, and remove himself from the memories of his opponents.

Fascinating.

Not my point, but ok.

Not sure this is the weakest DC character, but Superman Blue defeats an opponent with similar power by manipulating the opponent's energy

Good post about them already being spirits, AND he was invisible to actual spirits until he wanted to be seen. Great catch.

Anybody who refers to Kenpachi as a simple brick be the simpleton. Almost as dumb as suggesting Guy Gardner isn't the greatest GL ever.

The anime had a lot of filler. To the point where I just read the manga.

But I think that's actually by design. Anime is basically used to get people to buy manga.

Oh I'm talking about the manga it's so decompressed it's insane, sometimes the entire chapter consist of like 6 sentences, and it's not action packed like one punch man. Its mostly them standing there in the sky

The Thousand Year Blood War is hardly that. If you want to argue certain parts of Bleach, fine. But the TYBW arc is completely the opposite.

Thing that p1ssed me off the third most was... I still don't get how the final fight was resolved. I read it twiceover and I'm still in the dark. It was like Kubo just didn't want to deal with it anymore and rather than portray/explain how the fight was won, he just ended it by showing an epilogue.

The thing that p1ssed me off the second most?

Spoiler:
The manga never explained what happened to Yachiru or what she was exactly. Post-manga Kubo interviews shedding light on it is bs. They also lead to more questions than answers, frankly.

The thing that p1ssed me off the absolute most?

Spoiler:
We never even saw how Yhwach defeated Kenpachi. He beat him off-panel.

That sh1t is compressed. Not decompressed.

I was talking about when they were fighting aizen, for example when yamamoto was fighting aizen one move takes 2 pages to make. when ichigo was fighting grimmjow took months for that battle to be over. it was very slow.

I only read till the kugo ginjo arc

thousand year blood war anime was good, way better than the bleach original anime for sure. not sure about the manga i stopped following a long time ago before it ended.

Nuff said. Gremmy Thoumeaux has got nothing to do with that arc. And Kenpachi Zaraki who defeated Gremmy didn't have much to do with that arc either.

Even Bleach fans hated how the TYBW arc in manga was handled. Which is exactly why they needed to do an anime.

But I myself was so annoyed with the TYBW manga arc that I haven't even watched a single episode of the TYBW anime.
