Like it or not, he's human, no powers. If you want to compare comics to anime, then you should be consistent and equal in looking at both.

Never seen a human slap something that weighs hundreds of tons creating a mini tsunami after the hit. I've never seen a human move so fast that he covers a large distance before someone could fully turn around, move like a ghost. I've never seen a human get knocked through building unscathed or toss trucks with ease. I've never seen a human move so fast that the world around him is still, statue like, while performing tasks at super speed. Never seen a human run at super speed on top of water, moving so fast that he's able to run on water. I've also never seen a human outright destroy a a God, in his dimension, casually, or human moving faster than Gojo could see. What kind of peak humans are we talking about here?

As I said, all one needs to run on water is a speed of 50mph. This is a minimum to run across water. It looks impressive, but it isn't necessarily so.
