really? he doesn't even know if he said them right, though i'm sure she did. he's also used it in the past to help superman against deadman ironically but it doesn't come naturally to him, is always a last resort and is something he hates. he also has no idea he's facing a magic user here and by the time he does i've stopped time and it's over anyway. one simple showing doesn't change anything.
and i don't think it would save him in the deadman scenario either. superman would take out bats too fast for him to even utter the phrase he'd need.

I was just pointing out that interestingly enough, we (despite knowing comics inside and out) still underestimated Batman, and Zatannidas gave Batman 2 seconds of prep, confident that it wouldn't amount to much. But Bats could still pull something sneaky off, and remember Leo under the stips, because you chose preptime, Batman (and the rest of the JL) come onto the field KNOWING your abilities and that you had (unspecified) prep.
It was just funny because you specifically chose Z, and rate her magic highly (rightly so).

oh see I thought they just knew there was a threat. I didn't know prep time told them exactly who they would be facing...superman would be the threat in that case with his speed but the shield should still buy her time to stop time unless we say he moves ftl then hits the shield with planet shattering power. hard to say if her shield would withstand that for sure I guess or if she could concentrate to cast. she also doesn't need to speak of course so that might help her. once she gets the time stop off that effectively ends the fight.
Deadman might be easier. no prep. he's invisible unless he doesn't want to be. he could possess superman and not say anything so no one would even know what happened until they were all dead.

Your prep needs to then account for a blitzing Surfer (for example) whilst Strange *might* be attacking you mystically/astrally whilst Hulk is fisting you greenily etc.
Or it might not. This thread is to test your knowledge of characters and how they fight, but also your creativity.
If you decide to enter the thread with zero prep, then the Defenders also don't fight as if you have prep. So if Zop wants to just punch everyone in the face, can they react in time?
