Christian School Head Arrested on Child Porn Charges
Since July, Justin Lee Smith has headed the small private St. Anne's Episcopal School in Delaware. But during that time, state police say in court records, Smith has also used several aliases online, among them "agoodtimejobud" and "anythinggoesbud."
Using those screen names with his account on Kik Messenger, authorities say that from July through October, Smith downloaded and distributed at least two dozen explicit videos. Many showed girls from about the ages of 6 to 16 being forcibly raped by men, according to court records.
And last week, an investigation that began in July with cyber tips culminated with Delaware authorities charging the school administrator with 25 counts of felony dealing in child pornography. If convicted, Smith faces two to 25 years in prison on each count.
Pastor Found with Huge Amount of Child Porn
North Myrtle Beach Police arrested a Virginia man after they found "voluminous amounts" of child porn on his cell phone. Chadwick Branch, 55, was arrested for two counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor on February 11th.
Branch is pastor for Victory Baptist Church in Sutherlin, Virginia. There are videos of him preaching on the church's Facebook page.
On January 9th, The Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force got a tip regarding a video of three nude girls under the age of 13 performing "sexual acts" that was sent on Kik. Police spoke to the property owner where the IP address originated, who said Branch and his wife stayed in the unit.
Church Teacher Guilty of Molesting 4 Girls
Today, in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, before the Honorable Margaret Schweitzer, the defendant Ervin Alfaro-Lopez, 34, of Germantown, pleaded guilty to one count of sex abuse of a minor and three counts of third-degree sex offense.
Alfaro-Lopez faces up to 55 years in prison. A sentencing hearing is scheduled for August 28, 2025.
In May of 2023, a victim reported being sexually assaulted by Alfaro-Lopez when he was her teacher at a church located in the 15700 block of Crabbs Branch Way in Derwood.
Following the initial complaint, three additional victims came forward. Each of the offenses occurred between 2016 and 2018. The victims were between the ages of six and 12 years old at the time the offenses occurred.
Alfaro Lopez was arrested on March 11th 2024, following an investigation by the Montgomery County Police Special Victims Investigations Division.
Assistant State's Attorneys John Grochowski and Lauren Fetsch are prosecuting this case on behalf of the State.
The mother of one victim told police in an interview that she found out about the abuse in late summer 2023. She confirmed that Alfaro-Lopez told her husband that he had sexually abused their daughter's best friend.
Police later identified two sisters who saod that Alfaro-Lopez had also touched them inappropriately over and under their clothes during a class, while other students were praying with their eyes closed. Their father reportedly told police that Alfaro-Lopez had abused his daughters and the church had disciplined him for his behavior.
The father of the victims said that the incident had been "handled inside the church," the charging documents said.

Gary Thomas "Tom" Keesee, son of Gary and Drenda Keesee—founders and senior pastors of Faith Life Church—a family-run, multi-campus megachurch in Ohio, is facing allegations of sexual abuse, including one from his sister, Kirsten McKinney. In addition to being a son of the Faith Life Church founders, Tom Keesee is also the chief media officer at the church.
Among the other victims is Olivia Wooten, who publicly revealed that she is a survivor in response to McKinney’s disclosure. "I am a survivor of sexual abuse, and my story was one that was silenced and covered up by the very community that was supposed to protect me. My old fears tried to stop me when deciding to open this case and It's taken a long time for me to find my voice, but I am no longer afraid to share my truth," she wrote on Facebook.
Olivia Wooten's husband, Nathan Wooten, who is a former employee of Faith Life Church, also said in a statement on Facebook that Tom Keesee confessed to him more than a decade ago that he had sexually assaulted his wife while she was a minor.
News of the joint investigation broke last week after Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost declined to probe the allegations, claiming a conflict of interest due to his friendships with Gary and Drenda Keesee.
The incidents were reported to have taken place in Mount Liberty and a residence on Sharp Road, both in Knox County. Gary and Drenda Keesee own 104 acres on Sharp Road and reside on Sharp Road.
Drenda Keesee regularly rages about "globalists, Democrats, the one world order" and "lies by the mainstream media," all of whom are "controlled by Satan."

Pike County District Attorney James Tarbox says Samuel Andrew McCall was arrested on Wednesday, January 29th and charged with one count of Possession of Child Pornography with Intent to Disseminate.McCall was arrested by state agents after an investigation with the Internet Crimes Against Children task force. Tarbox says agents are going through electronic devices seized during a search and additional charges are expected.
A Troy church youth pastor accused of possessing child porn has reportedly taken his own life. Samuel McCall was arrested on Wednesday, January 29th and charged with one count Possession of Child Pornography with Intent to Disseminate. He was released from the Pike County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
According to Pike County Sheriff Russell Thomas, shortly after he was released on bond, McCall died by suicide in his house and was found by his father.
District Attorney James Tarbox says at the time of McCall's arrest, he was a pastor in a local church youth group, but it is not believed that there are any local victims of the child pornography.
Pastor Gets 10 Years on Child Porn Charges
A Caldwell County pastor was sentenced to 10 years in prison Thursday after being convicted for possessing child pornography. According to court documents from the U.S. Attorney's Office, in April 2023, law enforcement identified a Dropbox account belonging to 53-year-old Ashley Crouse, then a pastor at a church in Caldwell County, had videos containing child sexual abuse material.
A forensic examination of his church computer and other devices revealed that Crouse shared the child pornography and that he had used AI and a software program to make child pornography. In total, Crouse was accused of possessing more than 1,200 videos and 450 images. Also on the church computer, the investigation revealed that Crouse maintained a book that outlines in detail how to sexually abuse children.

Youth Pastor Gets 10 Years on Child Sex Charges
An east Tupelo youth pastor will spend the next decade in prison after admitting in court that he had sex multiple times with a 16-year-old church member. Alexander Ryan Blackwelder, 28, was the youth pastor at East Main Street Church of Christ in early 2023 when authorities received a tip that he was having an inappropriate relationship with a juvenile girl.
Blackwelder must register as a sex offender. He was indicted on four counts of sexual battery by someone in a position of trust, touching a child for lustful purposes, and exploitation of a child for requesting sexually explicit pictures. Blackwelder also denied having an inappropriate relationship when first questioned by police. But after leaving the police interview, he told the victim to delete files from her phone.
Youth Pastor Arrested in Child Sex Sting
Forty-two year-old Lance Hoffpauir was arrested near his home, and he was accused of sending x-rated messages to an undercover officer, who he thought was an underage girl.
"He was asking for pictures, sending a bunch of different things, and asking a bunch of different stuff. We met the elements to charge him with online solicitation of a minor, which is a first-degree felony,” Constable Alan Rosen said.
Court documents lay out Hoffpauir's disturbing behavior. It says he sent around 30 sexually explicit photos on Kik, and referred to the undercover officer as his "teen girlfriend." While attempting to meet up, court records say that he even references the TV show "To Catch a Predator" when asked if he was going to get in trouble.
