GoP Mayor Resigns After Sending City Attorney Video of Himself Masturbating
The mayor of one of North Dakota's largest cities resigned after an investigation into him mistakenly sending a lewd video to the city attorney.
Minot Mayor Tom Ross resigned Tuesday, the same day an investigative report was made public that found Ross sent a video of himself masturbating to City Attorney Stefanie Stalheim in January.
He sent the video minutes after the two had a telephone call discussing a police officer's suicide.
Ross asked Stalheim to delete the video, not to watch it, and to keep the incident between them, the report said.
Ross told an interviewer he had recorded the video at home during a lunch break and meant to send it to his romantic partner, not to Stalheim.
He had said it was "a sexy video for his girlfriend." The report said Ross intended to send the video to his romantic partner, whose name begins with "C," but mistakenly sent it to the contact "City Attorney."
GOP NYC Council Member Arrested with Over 1K Child Porn Videos
A New York City councilman who once did time in federal prison in a bribery scheme has been arrested on child pornography charges in Miami.
Daniel James Halloran, 53, was arrested at Miami International Airport on Saturday on charges of possession of child pornography and transportation of child pornography.
U.S. Customs agents searched Halloran's iPhone as he arrived at the airport, and found several videos of child pornography in a hidden folder.
At least 35 videos showed young children performing various sex acts, the complaint said.
A CBP officer also found a text conversation on Telegram that indicated Halloran had purchased child pornography, the complaint said.
In all, authorities found 1,362 videos stored in the hidden folder, and Halloran told officers around two-thirds to three-quarters of the videos depicted child pornography, the complaint said.
Pastor Arrested on Child Sex Charges
A metro pastor was arrested this week after he convinced his congregation to move in with him, and then molested a young girl.
Elmer Baca-Flores is the owner of a 501c3 nonprofit church labeled "Ministerio Levantando Adoradores Para Cristo Inc."
Two men told officials that their wives had been brainwashed by Flores and that he made them quit their jobs, grab their kids, and live with him.
The report stated that Flores told them he spoke for God, and that an underage girl was the speaker for God, and she was the "chosen one." They believed him and permitted her to sleep in his bedroom.
In March, the underage girl was taken to the CARES Center, and it was there that she told police he had molested her on several occasions. She said that Flores would perform loyalty tests on members of his congregation.
Priest Arrested on Child Rape Charge
A Catholic priest serving at a church in Downey was arrested after being accused of raping a minor, LA County records showed Tuesday.
Jaime Arriaga, 41, was removed from ministry at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Downey after the allegation surfaced, the LA Archdiocese confirmed Tuesday.
"The archdiocese has a long-standing commitment to the protection of minors and the reporting and prevention of abuse," the archdiocese said in a statement, adding that it reported Arriaga to law enforcement. The priest eventually surrendered to authorities.
The archdiocese, which reached a $880 million settlement over 1,354 child sexual abuse claims last October, said under its "zero-tolerance policy," anyone who is "found to have harmed a minor" is permanently removed from his or her job.
Pastor Arrested in Child Porn Sting
A reverend from a church in North Rome is facing child pornography charges after a predator sting was conducted in Bradford County.
The 40-year-old man, who was arrested at the church on Thursday, admitted he has been viewing and masturbating to child pornography for years.
Swink has been a pastor at North Rome Wesleyan Church since 2018. He preached as recently as April 6th, which was just four days before police confronted him at the church.
Snapchat flagged a minute-long video that depicted an adult man raping a child.
NCMEC traced the IP address of the device used to upload the video to be linked to an email address beginning with "littlebillyboy8419."
Police then linked the email address to Swink's residence.
Swink also maintains a personal Youtube channel that features 187 uploaded videos, many of which depict young churchgoers playing and worshiping.
He is currently being held on a $500,000 bond.

Yukon man faces 40 years for alleged child sex abuse
EL RENO – A Yukon man faces up to 40 years in prison after a Yukon Police investigation into child sexual abuse that allegedly occurred over four years.
Dominic Antonio Gargone, age 41, was charged Feb. 27 in Canadian County District Court with two counts of lewd or indecent acts to a child under 16.
The defendant “knowingly and intentionally” felt the body and private parts of the victim in a “lewd or lascivious manner” between July 2015 and July 2019 when the victim was between 8 and 12 years old, according to the charging document signed by Assistant District Attorney Eric Epplin.
The juvenile female disclosed the alleged sexual assaults last fall during a forensic interview conducted in Tulsa, according to an arrest warrant affidavit signed by a Yukon police investigator.
The victim never told anyone what had occurred until recently because she was scared what Gargone would do to her, the court-filed affidavit reads. -snip

Anyway as I said elsewhere: this is family wealth plus mormonism vs a kid. He still has a very fair shot at getting away with destroying a child's mental health (as if child predators settle for one victim)
Legally speaking, Dadudemon is innocent until proven guilty and if he were to be innocent, he should be exonerated. He's a garbage person aside from this, but no one deserves to be falsely accused.
From my personal point of view and having the hindsight of years, I think Dadudemon's guilty, 99.999999~% chance guilty of molesting and terrorizing an eight year old. Let him rot in prison, hopefully he gets decades if/when he's sentenced.
I've learned today from a KMCer that is on that Discord, Dadudemon would routinely claim that children needed to be saved from drag queens molesting them.
Church Official Arrested on Child Porn Charges
Paul Scouten, 39, of East Cortland Street in Fayetteville was arrested by Arkansas State Police at his home Thursday in connection with distributing, possessing, or viewing material depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child, according to Washington County Detention Center records.
Scouten remained at the Washington County jail Monday in lieu of $25,000 bond. He is set for arraignment on May 7th in Washington County Circuit Court.
Scouten had been office manager at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tontitown since August 2016, according to a statement sent to parishioners from the Diocese of Little Rock last week.
