MAGATard Pastor to Surrender on Child Sex Charges
A pastor of a Texas megachurch is expected to turn himself into Oklahoma authorities Monday on child sexual abuse charges.
Robert Preston Morris, 63, is expected to surrender to officials in Osage County where he was charged last week with five counts of lewd or indecent acts with a child.
Court records show an Osage County judge set a $50,000 bond and ordered Morris to surrender his passport to the local sheriff.
Morris was known to be politically active. The church hosted Donald Trump on its Dallas campus in 2020 for a discussion on race relations and the economy.
Morris could face up to 20 years in prison for each of the five charges, according to the attorney general's office.

Deacon Arrested on Child Porn, Bestiality Charges
Christopher Hayes, a 46-year-old realtor, youth lacrosse coach, and church deacon, has been arrested following a disturbing investigation into child pornography and bestiality.
The Pasco County Sheriff's Office uncovered hundreds of explicit files linked to Hayes, including videos depicting child sexual abuse and sexual acts involving animals.
The investigation began on December 12th 2024, when the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children issued a CyberTip.
Additionally, investigators found 80 files depicting sexual acts between humans and animals, including 74 videos of sexual intercourse.
Five of these videos featured Hayes' black Labrador retriever performing sexual acts on him.
According to deputies, Hayes' voice and home environment were identifiable in the videos, and his wife confirmed the dog's identity during the investigation.
Pastor Charged with Molesting 5-Year-Old
An Orland pastor has been arrested on several child molestation charges, court documents say. Rodger Daily Strong, 69, is accused of molesting a 5-year-old girl on five different occasions between January 1, 2024 and May 7, 2024.
The victim's mother alerted police to the abuse on March 5, 2025. As police questioned Strong on March 7th, he said he served as a pastor for 40 years, most recently at the Orland Church at the Nazarene.
According to a probable cause affidavit, Strong admitted to the abuse after originally blaming the victim.
Strong was arrested on Monday for three Level 1 felony and two Level 4 felony counts of child molesting. If found guilty, he faces 20–50 years in prison for the three Level 1 felonies and 2–12 years for the two Level 4 felonies.
If he is sentenced to serve the time consecutively and at the maximum allowed under Indiana law, Strong is looking at up to 174 years in prison.
Bail has been set at $200,000.
Pastor Charged with Sexual Exploitation of Children
A Jefferson County pastor and school bus driver is being accused of sexually exploiting children. On Wednesday, Elvis Colenberg turned himself in to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department. He is being charged with one count of exploitation of children.
Investigators said Colenberg forced a 14-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl to have sex with each other on the school bus he was driving. The female student told law enforcement this happened roughly 20 times.
The 14-year-old male student was not a normal bus rider. Colenberg would pick him up from another location. The pastor would drop all the other students off at their homes until it was just the 14-year-olds left. That’s when he would force them to have sex while he sat back and watched.

Ricci Wynne, 39, known as "Raw Ricci" to his more than 100,000 Instagram followers, was first arrested in November and charged with pimping and pandering by procuring. He was taken into custody alongside a woman shortly after arriving at San Francisco International Airport.
Wynne built a social media following as a purported hard-on-crime activist by filming homeless people, sometimes harassing them, and showing drug use in San Francisco's SoMa and Tenderloin districts. He has appeared on Fox News as a guest on "Jesse Watters Primetime" and "Tucker Carlson Tonight."

A pastor in Union County was arrested this week after he was accused of committing child sex crimes, the sheriff's office said. The pastor, 79-year-old Waymon Jordan Sr., was arrested on March 5th. He is listed as the founder and senior pastor at Greater Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Waxhaw.Over the course of several weeks, detectives conducted numerous interviews, and eventually named Jordan a suspect.
Upon his arrest, Jordan was charged with four counts of statutory sex offense with a child. An arrest warrant said that he engaged in a sexual act with a minor who was 15 years old or younger. The child's exact age was not given. The warrant indicated that the crime happened in 2022.
A North Carolina pastor was found dead a week after he was charged with multiple child sex crimes, the Union County Sheriff's Office today confirmed.
Waymon Jordan Sr., the senior pastor at Greater Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Waxhaw, North Carolina was arrested on March 6th, according to an earlier statement from the police on Facebook.
Jordan, 79, was charged with four counts of statutory sex offense with a child. The pastor was found dead about a week after being released. Jordan was discovered behind his church with a weapon nearby.

Pastor Gets 20 Years for Producing Child Porn
A federal judge sentenced a South Mississippi minister to 20 years in prison for sexual conduct with a young boy in a bathtub while video chatting with a resident of the United Kingdom.
Tyler Selby's supporters, including family and church members, lined more than two benches in the courtroom at the sentencing hearing in U.S. District Court in Gulfport.
Selby served for many years as a worship leader at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Ocean Springs, and was the minister of music at Robinwood Baptist Church in Harrison County.
The crime, Assistant U.S. Attorney Lee Smith said, was "grotesque." Smith discounted the many letters that Judge Louis Guirola Jr. said he received in Selby's support. "I'm willing to wager that anyone who wrote a letter of support never watched the video," Smith told the judge.
In the video, Selby masturbated and instructed the little boy to wash Selby's genitals with a bath cloth.

Federal investigators are revealing new information about Republican state Senator Justin Eichorn, who is accused of soliciting a teenage girl for sex, including his alleged attempts to cover up his tracks.
At his first court appearance last week, Eichorn told a judge he did not have a firearm at the residence, but newly filed court documents show FBI agents recovered a handgun and ammunition, in addition to a laptop, phone, and $1,000 cash, in his St. Paul apartment.
Federal prosecutors also described while authorities searched the apartment, a person showed up and asked to retrieve a computer from inside. She was denied and left. Later, she declined to be interviewed by the FBI. Eichorn and this person had communicated multiple times via jail phone calls, the motion states.
During one such call, Eichorn advised her "this is not like uh, a secure line, so just basic stuff," according to the motion. The two discussed phones and a computer during those calls, and she told Eichorn during one that she would "grab whatever you need me to grab," transcripts show.
A judge on Monday blocked the release of the Minnesota state senator charged with soliciting a minor, after prosecutors leveled fresh allegations that he tried to obstruct the FBI's investigation from jail.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Shannon Elkins ruled that Justin Eichorn should remain jailed instead of being released to a halfway house on Tuesday as previously scheduled. A pretrial hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, when the issue will be addressed again.
According to Eichorn's profile, which was removed from the Senate website last week, he is married with four children. But Itasca County court records show that his wife filed for divorce Monday. He received national attention earlier this month as one of the sponsors of a bill that would have designated "Trump Derangement Syndrome" as a mental illness.
Youth Pastor Arrested on Child Sex Charge
A pastor employed by Word Alive Church was arrested Tuesday after reported incidents of sexual assault on juveniles while he was a youth pastor there.
Joshua Lucero, 28, was charged with one count of sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust by the 17th Judicial District Attorney's Office.
The Thornton Police Department said that the reported incidents happened when Lucero was a youth pastor overseeing juveniles between the ages of 13 and 18 between July 2017 and July 2020.
Detectives believe there are more victims and are encouraging anyone with information to come forward.
Lucero was booked into the Adams County Jail where, according to court records, he was not given a bond. He does not yet have another court date set, according to court records.
GOP State Rep Gets 10 Years on Child Sex Charges
A North Dakota lawmaker was sentenced Wednesday to 10 years in federal prison after he pleaded guilty to traveling with intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct.
Ray Holmberg, 81, was a Grand Forks state senator for 45 years, and received a sentence that is longer than federal sentencing guidelines.
U.S. District Judge Daniel Hovland characterized Holmberg's conduct as "egregious and despicable" and said he did not think the guideline sentence of more than three years was adequate.
Holmberg, who appeared in court wearing shackles and a bright orange jail uniform, will also have to register as a sex offender.
Prosecutors allege Holmberg traveled to Prague in the Czech Republic 14 times between 2011 and 2021 to pay for sex with boys.
Holmberg resigned in 2022 after his many text messages with a man in jail in connection with child sexual abuse material came to light.
In 2012 and 2013, Holmberg posed as a teenage boy in an online chatroom for teens who had undergone circumcision, and misled and manipulated a 16-year-old Canadian boy into sending him explicit photos, the filing said.
The full story of the relationship is unclear because the boy later took his own life in 2021, "but no doubt Holmberg’s conduct contributed to his struggles," U.S. Attorney Jennifer Klemetsrud Puhl said.
Pastor Arrested in Underage Sex Sting
Thursday, Nassau County Sheriff Bill Leeper announced the arrests of 23 people across Florida and Georgia—who he referred to as "real monsters" seeking sex with children—in a two-phase sting operation.
Detectives went undercover online, posing as minors, and were then able to intercept the suspects as they sought to meet up with "who they believed were children" for sex.
Those arrested included Willie Leon Wright, who NCSO said is a pastor from Green Cove Springs. He was also already registered as a sex offender. He is accused of attempting to meet up with a 14-year-old girl for sex.
Wright brought his three-year-old son with him to meet the fictitious girl. Wright was arrested at a gas station with his son in the car.
