A Clay County teacher is in jail Thursday night for trying to meet a child for sex. Deputies arrested 35-year-old Joshua Dice on Wednesday.

He was immediately removed from his positions at both Calvary Baptist Church and Calvary Christian Academy in Middleburg. According to investigators, Dice is facing felony charges for using a computer to solicit a child and traveling to meet a minor for unlawful sexual conduct.

This is the second teacher from the school arrested in the last three years. In 2022, Caitlin Crum was charged with having a sexual relationship with a 9th-grade student and recording it on the student's phone. Crum is now on sex offender probation.

A youth pastor convicted of placing a hidden camera in the girls' bathroom at a Christian camp in Oregon is now facing new disturbing charges―this time in South Florida, according to a federal criminal complaint.

Authorities said they nabbed Jacob Melvin Hart, 45, of San Juan Capistrano, California with child sexual abuse videos at Miami International Airport after he came in on a flight from Haiti.

Authorities said they found 33 illicit videos in a hidden, password-protected folder of his iPhone showing girls as young as 10.

"Law enforcement also observed what appeared to be over approximately 160 artificial intelligence images and videos depicting nude prepubescent and minor females," the complaint states.

Investigators said that during an interview, Hart "explained that he generates them from a website that he pays a monthly subscription for, prompting it to create videos of naked 13-year-old girls."

David R. McKeown, a 47-year-old sixth-grade teacher from Holly Hill, was arrested for possessing child pornography, and sexual activities involving animals on Friday, the Holly Hill Police Department said. On Saturday morning, McKeown made his first appearance before a judge.

McKeown was arrested for 19 counts of possession of child pornography and six counts of sexual activities involving animals. The judge set his bond at $50,000 per count, totaling $1,250,000.

HPD said when reviewing McKeown's social media account, detectives discovered several messages where he was communicating with other users, disseminating students' personal information, and sending their photographs, and he appeared to utilize artificial intelligence to generate child pornography.

Based on messages sent by McKeown, law enforcement believes he utilized artificial intelligence technology to create CSAM with real children, some of whom may have attended UBIC Academy.

Initial search warrants revealed that McKeown was disseminating, downloading, and communicating with users on Discord during school hours and while connected to the UBIC Academy Wi-Fi. During these exchanges, he shared 19 images of CSAM and nine images of himself engaging in sexual acts with the family pet.

Detectives seized multiple electronic devices for further review. This investigation is active and ongoing, and additional charges may be forthcoming. Assistant Statewide Prosecutor Johnna Lessard will handle the case.

The Holly Hill Police Department arrested McKeown, and he is currently held at the Volusia County Branch Jail without bond. He faces up to 315 years in prison if convicted of these crimes.

KMC's rightwingers have historically ignored or hand-waved away the literal pedophile apocalypse happening at the hands of conservatives, such as churches and youth camps. They instead choose to focus on the virtually nonexistent to nonexistent rape of children in bathrooms by transgender people and drag queens.

Tucson police have arrested an 82-year-old pastor for not reporting allegations of sexual abuse involving one of his congregants.

Earlier this year, police arrested 57-year-old Jose Mora after he admitted to inappropriately touching a boy from his church several years ago.

Tucson police said the agency's investigation identified multiple incidents of inappropriate contact between Mora and young boys from the church's congregation.

On Monday, police said the agency has additionally arrested pastor Isaac Noriega for failing to report to law enforcement after he had received multiple reports from congregation members about Mora's conduct.

On June 25th, the Marshall County Sheriff's Office was contacted by the family of an 11-year-old girl, reporting that the pastor of their church had requested she send him photos of her body.

According to MCSO, the following investigation identified the suspect as Pastor Clarence Barry Hungerford. Hungerford was subsequently arrested, admitting both that he had contacted the girl and that he had destroyed his cellphone to try to prevent the contents of the phone from being accessed.

Hungerford was charged with tampering with physical evidence and unlawful use of electronic means within the Commonwealth to induce a minor to engage in sexual or other prohibited activities.

It's sickening, especially coming from someone who is supposed to represent moral values. These repeated cases clearly show the hypocrisy of certain circles. Sad for the victims, and shame on those who take advantage of their position.

A Cumberland County man convicted of sexually molesting a 9-year-old girl in a McDonald's will spend less than a year in prison, per a sentence handed down Tuesday afternoon.

A judge sentenced Roy Andrews, 77, to four months to a year in prison for touching a 9-year-old girl's genitals in April 2024 while they sat in a McDonald's in Upper Allen Township.

Two weeks later, when police showed up to arrest him, Andrews tried to run away into his home but police tackled him in his kitchen. Police later found a suicide note and a gun near where Andrews had tried to run.

Andrews helped found a Hispanic church in Harrisburg called "Iglesia la Fuente" where he was a youth group leader from 2014 to 2022. After the church closed, Andrews began transporting Harrisburg children to a church in Mechanicsburg.

Happy Home Baptist Church in Nakina, North Carolina is now reeling after their recently hired pastor was arrested Saturday for grabbing the private parts of a 13-year-old middle school student.

Their pastor, Devin Carroll, 22, was arrested and charged on Saturday with third-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor under the age of 16.

He is accused of grabbing the child on May 29th in the "private parts in a lewd and lascivious manner with the intent of arousal" at Conway Middle School.

Juan Carlos Garcia, associate pastor at St. Philip Catholic Church in Franklin, pleaded guilty Monday in Williamson County Court to charges stemming from a 2024 indictment on multiple counts of sexual misconduct involving both minors and adults.

Garcia entered a plea to all the original charges. In making the plea, Garcia admitted his guilt, was sentenced to seven years at 100% in state prison, and will be listed on the Tennessee Sex Offender Registry. He also agreed not to contest laicization from the priesthood.

The charges, filed in February 2024, included one count of continuous sexual abuse of a child, one count of aggravated sexual battery, four counts of sexual battery by an authority figure, and two counts of sexual battery.

A Sacramento County man, who was convicted for his actions during the January 6, 2021 storming of the U.S. Capitol and later pardoned by Donald Trump, was convicted on Tuesday of possessing child pornography.

After a one‑day trial, a jury in federal court found Kyle Travis Colton, 37, of Citrus Heights guilty of one count of receiving child pornography, the U.S. Attorney's Office in Sacramento announced in a news release.

Federal prosecutors said investigators searched Colton's home and found his laptop with "copious images and videos depicting the graphic sexual abuse of young children."

In the trial, evidence presented to the jury showed Colton downloaded the child porn from July 2022 through December 2023. A court document, however, reveals that that Colton was collecting child porn as far back as 2010, including while he was a school teacher overseas.
