Lol 'debating' implies you have points.

I shouldn't have to specify that in the OP. You all are just upset that this isn't going your way. I asked for a character, not a specific character from a specific writer. This isnt how it works. Just because main comics are inconsistent shouldn't be used against DB due to them handling sh** right.
Fine. Spidey survives King Piccolo's attack - as shown by DeFalco, Aaron, and Claremont. Not limiting myself to a single writer. Multiple writers.

Whats the difference between two and many in this case? You get a different writer in either case. Feels like DBZ gets another leeway comics aren't afforded to, I wonder why.

It's essentially all character statements and not much else.
Really? I mean, in DC when Batman blocks blades that can cut through anything, we have to take that with a massive pinch of salt.....does that occur in Marvel too?
Originally posted by DarkSaint85Its just that it's almost entirely exposition and character statements. At random, I could pull up a dozen scans that would make Lois even without Superwoman powers a universal threat by scaling by similar metrics.

Originally posted by JuntaiBut like I've said before: scaling generally is a reliable/logical metric in this medium. Manga and comics are not the same thing.

In DB, for example, we know that Saiyan saga Vegeta and 1st form Freeza were each capable of destroying planets with varying degrees of difficulty(max-diff for Vegeta vs. no-diff for Freeza)... So this means that any Z Fighter with a PL between 18k-530k absolutely can destroy a planet, even if they never actually do so on-panel. IOW, once a particular level has been established/defined, we automatically know what any other character at(or above) that level is capable of, even in the absence of tangible feats. That's just how ki-amping and whatnot works here.
As mentioned, this is how we know that someone like Krillin has been a potential planet-buster since the Namek saga, even though he has never operated on that scale.

DEW IT
Superman’s lifting and striking scales into the multiversal levels and can shift/destroy timelines.
In the same scene, Superman’s thoughts tell us Lois can sweep him from his feet. We’ve seen an endless amount of top tiers unable to budge Superman from his spot with the heaviest of blows.
