That said, I've worked security and law, and I've also seen the effects of false accusations of that nature. It's why I'm always conscious of the double edged sword, I've seen both sides of that sword cut deep.

Weird because 3 seconds after the news broke, Darth Thor was all about "innocent until proven man", also completely uninterested in ddm's string red flag comments and behavior, as well as ddm being caught lying about it when I confronted him, because he crafted his duper's delight story of the incident poorly. Just coincidence, but it's weird because you are also unconcerned while being concerned.

It's not so much that I'm unconcerned, as it is I have no idea as to what was said or what the proof was. I wasn't around for a very long stretch of time, and yeah, when I did come back, some people are missing. Heck I think Quan disappeared around that time too IIRC, whirly left or changed his name or whatnot.. I mean i think quite a number of people have left in the 4 or 5 years I was out of the loop.
But like I said, if he is guilty of it, then hang him by the balls. Heck I'd go get the lit blowtorch myself. But for me, I'd want to make sure I'm taking the torch to the right criminal for the right crime, rather than do it, then find out later the accused didn't do it. That kind of guilt would break me.

I certainly didn't say "Leave DDM alone!" I just asked if he was actually convicted of a crime or not. And said if he was convicted then sure, toss his ass out the airlock. Well, i appreciate the vote of confidence, but I'm not known to be reliable in terms of the amount of time I spend on these or any forums. I disappear for large tracts of time because my personal physical health is declining, and I'm often too weak or sick to be bothered with the stresses debates sometimes cause me.

Ok... so, just going by this, he was being creepy towards his step daughter somehow... Eeergh... he's blaming his wife because he chose to eat maccas, and is a grown ass adult... Ooook, Aaaaaand he's also responsible for sexual assault for groping his wife without her consent. And just to confirm, the creepy stuff apparently was enough for the issuance of an arrest warrant.
