Thor. Superman hasn’t really had any notable feats yet.

Thor for sure.

He should win with either Mjolnir or Stormbreaker.

How would Thor deal with his speed?

Also resisting the pull of a black hole with just his super breath reminds me of Silver Age Superman, Pre-Crisis level

Use of Combat speed wasnt that impressive. I mean Lex had plenty of time to repeatedly give commands to Ultraman mid-fight.

That was consistent throughout, not a one off.

That honestly seemed more like PIS than a legit feat.

I mean even Mr. Terrific and Lois from where they were should have been sucked in if that was a proper black hole. Certainly Krypto and Metamorpho.

A human had time to run back-and-forth across a room.Give orders to other humans who then had to send a signal to ultraman and superman couldnt react to that.

Thor beats the shit out of him.

Superman wins via superbreath.

Superman basically did a Pre-Crisis space cheese feat. I feel he might have better strength feats too.

I honestly hated the movie. They made Superman far too weak, with no sense of invincibility. His reaction speed was terrible, and his immature, whiny personality was frustrating.

I will correct one thing some of you mentioned: Lex predicted Superman's moves before he made them. He issued commands prior to Superman launching his attacks, never mid-swing. The timing of Lex's commands was always preemptive, not reactive.

Interestingly, once the probes were destroyed, Superman was suddenly able to dodge and counter Ultraman with ease. He was literally beating the snot out of him.

In my opinion, Superman holds a slight edge in speed and strength over Thor. Thor, however, has better combat skill, elemental powers like lightning, and a weapon that could potentially one-shot Superman - for example, by slicing his throat.

Superman's other major weakness is his morality, he holds back too much to avoid killing and will stop occasionally allowing his opponent to plan.

Overall, I think Thor wins this fight, but Superman does have a chance, especially considering how he handled Ultraman once the probes were destroyed.

^ Nice theory. Would make more sense, except the computer image was showing the exact position they were in to try the move from.

The fact that they could communicate commands to him in real time at all means clearly nothing significant was happening per second of combat.

He held up the Kaiju multiple times and it was only on screen for a second or two but the scanners showed it was like 20k-30k+ tons. He also held up that skyscraper which had the added weight of the other skyscrapers that had dominoed before it.

Do you know how long it takes to throw a punch? It's impossible to give any commands mid-swing); you have to issue them before the attack is launched.

Good catch. The Kaiju was around 100 meters tall, placing its weight between 20k and 30k tons.

This makes the fight tougher for Thor, but imo, he still wins 6/10 times.

I didnt say anything about mid-swing.

Point is clearly a whole sequence of fight moves was not happening every second. Let alone a thousand punches per second.

Heck when Krypto took out the cameras Lex couldnt help. IOW he was helping by Observing the fight. Not by predicting how it would go before it starts.

The only thing to hurt Superman when at full power was a stronger clone of himself, right?

The Hulkbuster Iron Man ripoff, known as the Hammer of Boravia, seriously injured Superman at the beginning of the movie - that's what really turned me off from the film.
