I would recommend "Run Lola Run" (Lola Renne) out of Germany. It has Franke Potente (from The Bourne Identity) in the lead role. Best use of a techno soundtrack in a film, and extremely fast moving. Tom Twyker is a very obscure directorial name over here in the States, and it would be a shame if it got overlooked.
It is all in German, but turn on the English dubbing for amusement the second time through.
I actually watched it last night. Interesting movie, but it felt like I was watching "Prisoner of Azkaban", having the ending played out over and over again, after knowing their fate, and what they had to do.
Longest 20 minutes in a movie ever! I have to disagree about best use of techno in a movie. That would go to "Hackers", who had The Prodigy pretty much do their soundtrack, or even "Blade", who boasted Expansion Union as well as New Order.

go see like a clockwork orange or the usual suspects or sleepers or goodfellas or casino i guareentee all these movies are great im sure many of you already seen this movies if u call ur self a movie expert but for those of you who havent see them love them buy them
These are all personal recommendations. Personally, I wouldn't recommend " A Clockwork Orange", simply because of the glorification of rape in the movie. It'a movie for those with aquired tastes.
"Goodfellas", too much foul language for me to actually try and enjoy, same could be siad for "Scarface". It really takes away from what is already a seemingly overrated movie.
"The Usual Suspects" however is great fun, and Singer's best. I would also recommend "Apt Pupil" to those of you that like Brian Singer's work.

OK, I'll give you Hackers. That was another good soundtrack. The only good techno song out of Blade that I remember was the nightclub scene, though I can't remember for the life of me the name of the group or song.
Run Lola Run / Azkaban parallel... never thought about it that way. Sorry that you were disappointed in it. I'd still recommend it to others. It does have a following behind it here in the States.

are you telin me that you dont recommend those types of moives coz of the language?..thats exactly how mobsters talk there not exactly english professors.....if you want to see a good movie see Three Kings but i'm tellin you right now it has its violent moments but if it wasnt violent than you would be cheating the audience just like i think you would be cheating the audience if you didnt use the type of language of certain cultures or whatever

I see ur point cinema i just see that many people seem to recommend so many movies realeased in the last couple of years. I personally am a fan of movies that came out before 2000
Regarding A Clockwork Orange, I have found it rather difficult to get into most of Kubrick's films (someone mentioned Run Lola Run being too weird... they obviously haven't watched any of Kubrick's works lately!). That being said, if I were to recommend any Kubrick film, it would be Dr. Strangelove just because Peter Sellers is a freaking great actor. The Shining was OK too. Other than that... Kubrick's works were just too awkward... and slow. And I include A.I. in that category, too... that was his work before Spielberg took it over and it showed.
