Name a movie that you would "suggest" that some others might have not seen.

As the one who started this thread, yes it was indended that people list good, great movies that are NOT that well known.

So , you dont need to list blockbusters like Titanic or Pirates of the Caribbean.

Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain
Close Encounters of the Third Kind

Todo sobre mi madre - All about my mother

Ok , If you want, you can edit my post and take out all the movies that are well-known

Nah to much trouble. Plus I didnt need your permission to do that 😉

I know, your a moderator 🙂

I'm not sure if anybody has posted this or not, but the movie,"Mean Guns", is awsome. It has got Ice T and Christopher Lamber. I don't think it ever was out in the theaters.

Ill tell you a good film to watch that not many people have seen, its called:
'The Big Lebowski'.
Its very funny and well made.

awesome movie...."my names not lebowski, i'm the dude!!!"

Clue, Murder by Death and Bowfinger

One movie that I know in England not that many peeps have heard about is Office Space, which I think is one of the best comedies that has been released lately

The Beyond.....totaly gory and bloody. If you like Lucio Fulci's other films, you will definitely love this one.
Killing Zoe.....Roger Avarey's (Co-creator of Pulp Fiction) first film.
Creepshow.....Directed by George Romero and written by Stephen King......waht's not to love?
Donnie Darko......I love it
Henry: Portrait of a serial killer.............isn't the title enough to know it rules?
El Mariachi........Robert Rodrigues's first guerilla film (And I cannot express the word guerilla enough!!!) made for only $7,000.00! El Mariachi is also the prequil to Desperado and Once upon a time in Mexico. If you're interested in independent filmmaking, the DVD commentary by Rodriguez tells you how to make a movie for less than $10,000.00 as well as "The Robert Rodrigues Film School" featurette.

I love Steve Martin Movies, ans my fav is the Jerk which I don't believe many people are aware of. it's an older movie

Anniversary Party, Dirty Pretty Things, The Station Agent, In America, Barbarian Invasions and two that i think will be on that list but i haven't seen yet are Coffee and Cigarettes (trailer at www.budweiser.com/1) and Garden State. They're both virtually unknown but look really good.

Another one that might fit is Amelie though I think a decent amount of people might have seen it.

Oh and I can't forget Behind the Sun. It's a Brazilian film. Really good.
