You have to use the "alt" key and then a certain number combination to get those charcaters

Ñ, ñ, ú etc... first one was "alt" 165. second was 164, third was 163

Hold the "alt" key down while at the same time keying in the numbers...

thats what I was just doing and nothing is showing up, my keyboard just spazzes out. Maybe my settings are making it to where I can't do that or something.
