Order of the Phoenix - OFFICIAL THREAD - ~*~SPOILERS~*~

I was so disappointed with this book. If it was just a plain old bad book it would have been ok, but this was a book in a series and this is JK Rowling we're talking about here. Why would she make us wait so long for her newest book and have it suck so much? She took the main character and made him angry with everything and everyone which made him annoying, she got rid of a main character (which I do believe will come back in the end).. geez i cant even remember all the stuff that made the book suck. It just sucked!

Great...But Not As Good as the 4th.

i feel like i'm the only one who really didn't like the fourth one...i did read a bunch of times tho.

as i have said on many ocasions *wouldnt you be angry??*look at how much he has benn through i think j/k is just trying to make harry as realistic as possible .dont you think you would be angry??
and i think that the death of sirus although sad and upseting it is to all of us is a very important part of the story .the death of him will help build and shape the charictors and important lessions will be learnt by all of them that otherwize they would not have known about

i think that harry changing shows a deep character development. he had 2 deal with many deaths and the main character's death was the last straw. i first i didn't like his change either but it showed how much harry felt about everything around him. besides, i think this isn't ur average fantasy. harry potter is very deep and intricate story and things like this r bound 2 happen.

Started it again. Ooooh...it's like reading it for the first time.....nah, stuff the fifth book, I'll read 'em all again! It's nice to come back to.

A lot of my friends have said they didn't like the fifth book because they thought Harry was having too many shouting tantrums. Well, (Hope don't offend anyone with this.) most teenagers tend to, and Harry at his age, after having all those things, deserves to have a wee bit o' a rant an' rave. Go on Harry! Let it all out man!

so do you see ron or herminone having temper tantrums? Harry is just a baby in this book, he was all crabby even before Sirius died.

i still don't get y every1 hated. i thought it was awesome.

i can definately say that it wasnt my fave out of them all but its better than summit i could have dun!!!!!!!! 😄

But Ron and Harm don't have the same pressures as Harry does.

He's got the burdens of bein' a celebrity because the evil dude killed him parents, the evil dude is also wanting to kill him and everyone is always judging him on every little thing. Ron and Harm are his friends, they should know this, and help him through it. If they can't stand his tantrums they shouldn't be his friends. They should support him and help him through the difficult times.

I think if you had a really powerful evil wizard after you, and was wanting to kill you, I'd think you'd be entitled to a few tantrums.

the third one is the best... though i think the 5 one is really exiting but i hated that ****** dies!!
