Jean Grey/Phoenix

Started by ayjay23 pages

i actually not sure....i think its probably psionic flames....sorta..loks like flames, feels like flames, but not actual flames....iono

yeah that's right, she can produce fire by manipulating molecules but the flames that surround her are actually a visual representation of the power of the phoenix to go along with her Phoenix raptor displays 🐰

Someone, please help me understand the whole Phoenix/jean grey deal!

So much has changed, what exactly is jean grey right now?
Does she have the entity in her?
????? 😮 😕 😕 😕 😕 😕

I dont understand it completely myself, but I know that she and the entity are one in the same now, and that its her mutation that allows her to be one with the phoenix.

perhaps the most obvious evidence that they are the same entity is when Jean rips out an unwilling Phoenix from a possessed Emma. This means either a) they are two halves to the same entity, like they say in the book or b) Jean is more powerful than the Phoenix, which makes no sense. 😕

heres some pics from endsong:

pt.2

final pt.

Phoenix entity is a force of nature, right.

So her mutation was a gene that allowed her to tap into the entity that is phoenix?
Makes a little sense. thanks...I need to know more though.

BTW thanks for the pics, Feiry!😄

They look great, but i bet money those are just traced photographs.
bad bad bad, who ever drew those...who was the artist in the Endsong comic?

... how can Jean ever be stronger than the phoenix?

Greg Land.

he goes for a very photo-realistic look. It actually doesnt look that bad in the comic, I quite like the style. Only complaint is he tends to airbrush the lead women a bit. But they do have expression.

Its a rather polarizing style. Quite a few people find it unappealing.

thats why I discounted that option. It doesnt say that, it says "you and I are one". Numerous times. ("I am you", "I am always Jean. And always the phoenix", etc.)

yea there are some particuarly awesome scenes that he does very well. For example, I LOVE that scene where Angel comes back and says "we found her"... and the scene where Jean first talks to wolverine. And of course the 2=page spread of love 😍

I think you are putting a little to much thought into it can't it just be fire?

Actually Phoenix Avatar 9 is right Movie Geek. It is far from just flame. It has always been made very clear in the comics that it is a visual manifestation of her powers

oh dear, poor jeannie seems to have multiple personality disorder, lol

MERGING with the Jean Grey/Phoenix discussion thread? 😊
