Since when has resident evil had anything to do with traditional 'romero' zombies. As for the lickers im sure there were more in the city than just them three. altough i was under the impression that in the game the lickers were blind and in RE2 we have a point-of-view shot of how the lickers see.
It was a great film for what it was. RE was always about mutated zombies and tyrants (which i would like to see in a future RE. The bland scary type from the RE2 game)

I was hoping the zombies would eventually do some Thriller moves, but all they did was waddle around. 😠 the only insight for those anonymous baddies having any sensitivity to their surroundings was the zombies to fast movements and the crawlers (to body heat?). as to the games, when the first one came out, it scared me out of my wits. they just had sucky dialogue script.
the movie overall was a disappointment. too many dumb characters if you ask me, but an Ultimate killing machine Alice might make me see a third.
