Because I have a speech impediment as the result of a gunshot to the neck. I was in the U.S, Army Infantry and was shot by a hostile local with an AK-47 while in Iraq. (I was just grazed, though. But it was a hollow point!) My nerves and larynx are damaged and I have a mild stutter. I used to be horrendously bad, but now, with years of radical speech therapy, its noticeable, but not extreme.
Re: Why That Username?

(I searched, but came up with no results.)I always wonder why people choose certain usernames. What was the meaning behind them? Some of them are easy, like "Vinny Valentine" for example. It's obviously based on Vinny's love for the FF7 character. Others are simple. So what does your username mean? A lyric from a song? A favorite character?
Well, I found KMC as an unfortunate side-effect of an Internet search, I saw an interesting looking thread and decided I wanted to point out why half the people "debating" in it were so obviously wrong *coughretardedcough*
Obviously it wouldn't let me post until I gave a valid E-mail address and a username, I didn't know what to use as a name straight away.... and I felt people that used film/comic/game/etc character names were pretty sad and unimaginative (no offence 😮 )
So long story short - I didn't have a clue what to use as a name - so I was clueless - rhyming slang for clue is scooby doo (In Britain) which then gets shortened to "scooby".... so to be clueless is to be without a scooby... or Scoobless
I've considered changing it a few times but I've been using it for so long over in the comic forums that it's grown on me... I even catch myself referring to myself as Scoob in other parts of my life now .... in my head anyway

I chose this name a long time ago in a street fighter competition of which I won a title.
There was a large group of us that opted to remain anonymous (don't ask) and we made up face names in order to cover us. Of course at the time the Matrix had just came out so most people were going with Matrixish names. I chose mine by mixing the sound of my name up enough into something peculiar but interesting.
The number 52 holds no significance whatsoever. It's just a number I use.
