The 'What does your name mean' thread

Got my nick name from some drunken guy when I used to work in a liquor store. He could not pronounce my real name , Bryan, and it just kinda stuck. (don’t ask me why he couldn’t pronounce it, he was like the Simpsons Barney in our town).

my name is a made up name of a dragoon from the game the legend of the dragoon. I thought that blackice gives it a little kick and sounds sly and slick.

Mine means i'm an avereage fan of a sertain show,wanna make somthing of it????

Well I really don't know where I got this name. It was entirely random. I think it came from coke studios. My name there is 'sheepies'. Some lazy dude typed 'Sheepz'. I kinda liked it. So, it stuck

For some reason it reminds me of the dragon from the stupid Yu-Gi-Oh commercial for monster models. Don't know why...

I named myself after the Transformers charcater Metroplex. He's really cool.

metroplex... i actually got straight A's in the 5th grade so my mom would buy that transformer for me... it was the only 1 of 2 times i got straight A's..... the other time i needed a car. which is a funny story in itself. anywho... my name is a band name for some crappy show that was on in the 70's....

P-NuT because i am a bit of a nut, i love peanuts and the bass player from my fav band 311 is called P-Nut.

Um, I got mine from my father. He would call me his Demonic Angel and then I just switched Angel with Gambit, since he's my fav X-Men character.

Well Shinto refers to Shintoism a form of bielef that is mostly practiced in most of Asia I studied the religion in first year of college and I have used the Shinto part of my name for the longest time I used to use Shintolord, Godofallshintos, Shintogod, and I now use Godshinto

I didn't chose name of movie characters like Galaldriel, Eowyn or Trinity...because I thought that here will be lots of names like that. I wanted something special and I chose Nefertiti. This is a nice name of Queen of Egypt and I thought that nobody won't choose it. Now they really won't! 😄
