hmmm.........good point but she kinda just changes into old ladies doesnt she? She doesnt really change her appearance totally apart from that. She just kinda changes her hair and nose.

But I still. I dont think that Camron could take the part. She is cool and all but I just dont think so. I think that they should get someone kinda different for a change. Someone new. That is just what I think.

LOL. I havent seen that movie. But I have seen some of her other work and I think that she wouldnt be that great. I mean it might distroy her image.!!!!

No way would Cameron Diaz do any good at Tonks!! & there is pretty famous people in the movies. Maggie Smith, & Richard Harris was, before he died, & the guy who played Hagrid ( I forgot his name). They are all pretty famous, aren't they?

lol! there are countless stars in harry potter! Alan Rickman for one!!! (snape) he's a fantastic actor....has been in so many things you can't count n e more......an example wud be diehard..

NO! JK has always said ((and i think she is right)) that as many actors as possible should be British. Americans trying to do british accents generally come out HORRIBLY

I think Naomi Watts. She was born in 1968, so shes 36 which is perhaps a bit old. ((but then again, myrtle was played by a forty year old woman!)) shes british, and spent part of her childhood in australia. i know she looks a bit dressy in this picture, but just imagine her in studenty clothes with spiky hair!

Yeah I was just watching There's Something About Mary the other day again and was thinking..hey she'd play a good Tonks...but I do agree that its better to have new Brittish/English actors to bring in with the accents and all. And I would love to see a new character.

I think that if Cameron Diaz did a Harry Potter movie I would suddenly not like that movie so much. Naomi Watts seems like she would be really good for the role though.

I dunno.........I dont think the book says which house she was in....... maybe she'll tell us in book 6

We should post pictures of models/actresses/whoever of who we think looks like tonks. I've been on a few Tonks fan sites and they have pictures of models that I think look like Tonks.
