I didnt see the end of the ep and your summary doesnt explain why they couldnt remember Dani and if they remembered in the end.

Like I've said in my other post, let's go to the very basic ok? Danielle Moonstar can ENTER PEOPLE'S MINDS.

That said, Dani just entered Kitty's mind. Just hers, everything that happened from the beginning were all just Kitty's illusions until the scene where she bursted out in the kitchen and asked the others where Dani is. After that scene, Dani connected with Kitty's minds every now and then. Kitty were having illusions and stuff, she can hear Dani's voice on the phone even though it's not connected, she can hear voices, she can see images. But like I've said, it's all just for Kitty, not for the others. So for your question, No. The others did not remember anything about Dani just until the end when they realized that she is real and Kitty wasn't going crazy.

It's also the reason why Kurt had a remark that went like, "Oh! So she's real!? (or exist, or something like that, I can't remember the exact words but that's the idea) when she saved Dani and Kitty when they almost drowned.
