I've been watching DragonBall since when I was 4,5 years old

in my opinion,it will be ridiculous for American actors to be the main characters of DragonBall

1.DragonBall characters,especially the main ones,were made to look like Asians. and they do Asian martial arts,
the whole DB were deeply influenced by Chinese martial arts and culture.

2.American actors can't do kung fu,not smoothly,although they are going to use lots of computer effects in this movie,but you still need to be able to perform kung fu smoothly and know what kung fu is.
everytime I see Western actors doing kung fu,I thought it is some robots fighting.

3.I've watched some episodes of American dubbing DB,the voice acting is crap,I can't imagine Americans are actually going to be acting in the movie..

i dont know...the voices in the japanese version of dragon ball and dragon ball z...their voices are pretty high...its not reAL, at least in the american version piccolo and vegeta actually sound like men

does anyone have REAL DBZ movie posters or pictures...if so, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE I GOTTA SEE EM!!!

I've seen every episode of dbz through Buu saga, and some time after sayian saga the voices changed. Chris Sabat does the voices of both Piccolo and Vegeta you can hear it sometimes when either of the two characters are yelling. He does a lot of the voices on the show. Maybe your thinking of something eles.

Oh and that picture of piccolo up there looks more like kami to me.

sometimes i can tell on dbz and other shows. sometime in one of the sagas, kirby morrow played the voice of piccolo at one point of which saga i don't know. kirby voice acts: cyclops in x-evo, miroku in inu yasha, and piccolo in dbz.

There arent any real ones. I dont even think they've begun filming at all. You probly wont see any real stuff until mid 2004 :/ then you might catch a trailer for it hopefully

from the news at the official dbz site, it's going to be a longer wait than that. =(

I know that as soon as they make that movie they are going to mess it up. I'm a great DBZ fan but you can tell by the commercials they have trying to sell DBZ action figures that they always get things wrong. And it always looks corny. They has to be many Japenese people on the project for the movie to work.

i agree. need to keep up with the theme/vibe of anime/manga styles. americans can ruin stuff like that w/o resorting to work with the origins.

You no if there really is going to be a real life dragon ball z movie/saga, then they most probably won't use famous matial artists (eg. Jackie Chan and Jet Li) but low paid unknown actors who can betta fit the role. If this is the case i'm glad.
