Dragonball is one of the most violent series there is and the best.

I dont think its that violent. Not compared to some Manga cartoons.

do's any one know how many films were made and put onto DVD or film i really need to know well thanks.

I think the dbz movie will kick ass,the perfect goku should be robin shou,vegeta as jet li,jean claude van damn as trunks,jackie chan as gohan,krillin is a tuffy who should be him?and the women like chi chi and bulma are hard too who should be them?personally they should do the buu saga and dragon ball gt because i want to see goku transform into ssj3 and ssj4 that would kick so much ass and when is it supposed to come out?

DBZ is one of my favourite animes but i just cant't see it as a live action movie. Whenever i think about it,something like power rangers comes to mind *shudders* 😘

But you never know it could be good. 🙂

It would seem that hollywood may be about to ruin in my opinion one of the best anime stories ever...DBZ...For all you DBZ fans out there, who watch the show religiously & know exactly what happens in the sayin & radditz saga's prepare ye selves for P*st off mode.

*Its not goku who dies in the fight against radditz, its krillin...
*After Radditz is killed, Piccolo trains goku on how to use his ki energy.. so no big energy blasts from goku untill Piccolo teaches him, which is completly wrong since goku's signiture move & the one move you associate with DBZ is the KAMEHAMEHA, not to add that in, is an insult to the creater & to all us hard nut fans out there.
*it takes Vegeta & Nappa 2yrs to get to earth instead of one
* Master roshi's name has been changed to Master lee & finally something that should destroy the faith of all true DBZ fans, that this movie may actually be a winner is that Goku turns ssj when fighting Vegeta........AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it would be best if they take the end of the show (it has ended right? Havent seen this in ages!) and just create a new villain for them to fight. Instead of recreating in cinema a story everybody already knows and has probably seen about a million times on re-runs!

All u people out there who have a problem with DBZ, get over it. Just because its not a show you enjoy doesn't mean the show is crap in genral. I can understand the pain it can cause you when you have to think really hard & that it's much more simple to sit back & be completly ignorant about the show.... Give us fans a break. If you dont like the show, create your own DBZ haters forum, then you can bag on the show until your hearts content.

Van damn is old and crap (Street fighter movie was wrong, mainly because Van damn cant act)
Jet Li would be a great Vegeta
Robin Shou, well whats he been in lately thats any good & don't forget like van damn he was in another crap video game movie which sucked major ass)
Jackie chan is really old, do you really think they would cast a grandpa for the youngest character. no offence but do you even watch the show.

Their starting the DBZ movie off from the Radditz saga and basing it around the sayain saga.
