Why on earth would you want that tattooed on yourself?

Not the acronym, the symbol.

Oh okay

I want a tattoo, maybe one of my fave band? Like a logo or something, or maybe a movie quote?

Words is a bad idea. How will anyone read it when it's old and crinkly? 😛

Well, a logo then...I'll have a look and post them here if I find something I like

I will never get a tattoo.

Of course if I were to get one, I would definitely show it. That would be the purpose of me getting a tattoo........so that other people could see my body art. I'm not paying so that only I can see it when I take my clothes off.

I know some people do that, but I think it's ridiculous.

oh yes indeedy, different parts of the body wont absorb the same type of resistence to other parts.

What exactly happens (according to medical advice), is that when the needle enters your body, pixels of healing power will try and get to the part of the body that hurts the most. The first 4-5minutes will seem a little nippy until those pixels reach the part where you are getting a tattoo.

Trust me, please, when I say that Tattoos are relatively painless process if you chose it to be, otherwise people would not go back for more or have half their entire body covered in them. Even to this day (after about 15 tattoo sessions and round about 40hours of work), I still sweat buckets and get really nervous whilst in the waiting room for a tattoo, I fell like running the hel out of there. But I dont and its worth it.

The most enjoyable part of a tattoo for me is the aftercare, it is the best feeling in the world when it starts to heal and the ink cabs away and then you are left with a lovely tat.

As for the least painful places, probably your forearm and the outside of your bicepts. Underneath the bicepts is a little painful. The Chest and the Belly is the most painful place I have ever had, I advise NOT to think about it.

My friend got stars up his side, from his underarms down to his hips, I watched him do it and he was in alot of pain, so avoid that as well.

The back is easy enough, near the top of your back is a bit painful due to the bones....AVOID BONES, when getting a tat.

I got my fav band's name across my belly, it was a dare and I did it. One day I might regret it, in about 20years, but hell I am proud of it just now. It is a great conversation starter and it does seem to impress people.

All this talk has made me want to push my tattoo appointment closer, I am due to get 3 chinese symbols under my bicept, the symbols will stand for "Father, Mother, Sister". Should be fine.

February 9th, I am due for my second phase of tattoo removal. The first phase has taken 3months to heal and it looks alright, I cant make out what it was. I will take a photo of the current look and try to find an original photo of the tattoo, might be one kicking around.

The unfortunate thing about my tattoo shop - he is one of the top 3 tattoo artists in Britain - is that it is on a "first come, first serve" basis. Which means there is always a b*stard queue at 7am, even though the shop opens at 9. MEANING I have to leave my town and travel 50miles at like 6am. Its a pain in the buttcheck but it is worth it I suppose.

thats cool you go to one of the best in britain
not so cool about getting there and waiting etc.

itd be gutting if you get the symbols but they turn out to say something else 😂

haha I have double checked with 2 different chinese takeaways in my town.

Unless they have a unwritten code meaning they all have to tell the wrong symbols to me.

I could always change the meaning of the symbol to the situation I am in. like if i meet a chick i could say "it means, I will love forever", haha.

😆 good idea

I plan on getting the Dr Pepper logo on my lower left back, just not sure when I'll get it.

I have no idea, I'm not really a fan of Motley Crue. The only song I can sort of stand is Shout at the Devil, or somethin' like that.
