Why are most of 'unplugged's' American

(Let me start by saying this is just a queery not some sort of racist questions.)

OK so from the way i understand it The Matrix encompassas the whole world right? All the continents, countries, everyting, because the machines took over. What i cant understnd is why are nearly every Zion resident American. You dont see one British, Australian, French or German person in or out the Matrix. OK so fair enough there are plenty of Asian people about with shaved heads, but why no Europeans??????

yeah, i'm missing what you're seeing. in zion i saw people from every possible continent. especially when they all confront neo by the elevator.

whaddya mean no europeans? how could you tell, unless you heard each and every person's accent that was in zion? or do you just mean white people? in that case, i think zion represented a fair proportion of the world by having minorities as the majority.

and i don't think nationalities count as races, so don't worry about being racist. unless you did mean "white people" when you said "french, german, etc."

Well I did see many diverse people when they confronted Neo by the elevator, and anyways it seems that the people of Zion don't really consider the race issue since well we are all human and we are fighting the machines let us stick together as one. Honestly I dont see what people have against French people just because they did'nt want to go blow up some camel riders in Iraq, please dont talk about foreign nationalities like that its inpolite. After all if it were'nt for the French we would'nt have won the American Revolutino.

Yeah but would they have known that we would have saved their asses? Also if it were'nt for the French then the Americans would'nt be so American either, you can only accomplish something like WWII or the destruction of the machines with unity, and that is what America, Britan and the French did along with 40 other countries...also about surrendering would you surrender to your destruction and the destruction of your people?
