Well to keep this matrix related, the French in the matrix sure do suck. They never won a war in there life. The best they could do was draw 3 times French history. They did help out in the revolutionary war against the british, so that is one plus, but that is really all I can think of right now.

You would think the machines would be smart enough to only have french people in the matrix then they would never win a battle against the machines. 😮‍💨

hmmmmm........you see many American's and Asians but not other nationalities eh?..............this has already been brought up but unless you hear each person's accent, how do you know if they are American, German, French, or Swedish?

It did sound a bit racist as the majority of Zion are either black or asian........both races outnumber white people in Zion. Am I to assume that since you listed Americans and Asians in your original post that you believe the black people of Zion to be American? There are plenty of black people in Europe..........alot of black people in the U.K. in particular. Sure, the negro race is not native to Europe........you must remember that it is not native to North America either. By your postulating, wouldn't it be more fair for you to say there are more Africans and Asians in Zion? ..........I say Africa because you seem to judge the people's nationalities based soly on their physical appearance....as you referred to "asians"...........ok, the people look polynesian.......that doesn't mean they are from Asia. Every "asian" looking person in Zion could have been born in Norway or Canada for all we know.

Basically.........you equate being polynesian with being Asian......as that is their native land

This must mean that you equate being negro with being African......as Africa is their native land

I really don't see where the "American" part of the question comes into play at all.

I think the most important question is where exactly is zion location? Is there a europe left? Cos Europe and U.S. are seperated by an ocean. How would they cross it?

Kid has a point. I haven't heard a single non american accent in Zion. But thats neither here nor there. However it is an american made movie, so they probably thought there was no point to putting in foreigners. Also maybe Wachowski's made everyone have an american accent for a reason. Who knows...

There's a Brit in "Matriculated". When talking to the main female character (I forget her name) about the monkey-creature thing she says "Dreaming already?" and it sounds very Poshbrit to me.

Well when they wake up they need somebody to pick hem up and help them recover. Sice the one is the person that choses the 26 (or something) to rebuild zion I don't see how there can be any other city.
