X3 is really starting to scare me. Phoenix as a secondary plot, then Gambit, Angel, Beast, Kitty, Colossus and now...Juggernaut?????? Jesus Christ, how many characters they will introduce? Each of them will probably have 30 seconds of screen time, since half of the film has to be Wolverine once again, otherwise it wouldnt be a "Wolvie and his frineds" movie like the two previous...
the idea of Phoenix sounded so cool to me in the beggining, but she just cant be secondary 🙁 i thought this way they would bring more light to Cyke and Storm, but with Phoenix as a simple subplot, this wont happen...Plus what will that Angel thing do in the movies? he doesnt even have that many fans...and now, Juggernaut. It's scaring me...

the same could be said for gambit or beast... beast is a doctor (a cool one at that), and gambit is only useful for either being rogue's boyfriend or one of the brotherhood...

angel, just like Gambit, will be a pleasing-the-fans character. And they will use too much effects for nothing 🙁 the difference is that as a brotherhood member Gambit could at least be like Nightcrawler in X2 but in the oposite side, and Beast could be the doc. What i mean is that they have something to do in the film, but...Angel? As far as i know, he was linked to Psylocke, and we're not gonna see her there...too many characters already to introduce Angel and Juggernaut.
Wont we already have that guy who built the sentinels? or is it a rumor? and i'd never like Jug as a main Villain. The vilain needs to be someone as intelligent as Magneto.
Why not put dark phoenix being brainwashed by him? cry i think it would be nice...

i agree but i wanted to see a grown up Rogue, and more fight scenes, not too much character development, we must give time to the ones who need, she already got the whole X1 and bits of X2. The only problem is they developed her in a total wrong way...

the brotherhood, angel could easily fill that role... its not neccessarily a gambit specific role...

Angel...in the brotherhood? was he ever a badass? and..angels as villains...i dunno, but gambit has a bad side, he was a thief, i think he would fit a villain better than angel...but we never know.

angel could easily be a bad guy... its not a stretch... besides the producers have altered the stories of the characters enough already, one more wont kill them...
and it would be very easy to brainwash angel, or just coerce him into doing bad deeds...

I think this is a good opportunity for the writers to do something new with Gambit. I think he could be much more than just Rogue's boyfriend or the new brotherhood recruit.
