The only good trilogy i watched was LOTR. The success was unbelievable.
To tell you the truth, i do not see the X-men trilogy making it to the tops.

I am not a fan of Storm's character, and it's not like she had any essential role in both movies, therefore i won't be surprised if she won't appear in X3.
But then again, maybe giving her a bigger role in the upcoming movie will be kind of good, if not marvelous, for the story line and the movie in whole.

Gambit, on the other hand, is one of my favorite characters. But finding the Gambit of the comic books is not an easy job. Marvel have done a lot to make Gambit's character as outstanding and rare as possible.
In the comic books, Gambit and storm share a special bond, and i think that it's either both of them appearing in the movie, either none.
Otherwise it won't make sense and the movie will take a huge turn towards confusion and complicated storyline.

As for Wolverine (who is my second of the two personal favorites), he did have great roles in both of the movies so far, and as you can see, that's what people like.
As much as i adore him, i wouldn't mind seeing a change in the plot in which Wolverine doesn't have the leading role.
But if the rumors are true, and the movie is going to focus on Phoenix, then i guess both Wolverine and Scott will have important roles in the movie.

But then again, that is only one's opinion.

Yeah Gambit is my favourite x-man too but he's gonna be tricky to translate to the big screen. He'll either be really cool or really cheesy. Let's hope he's as cool as in the comics.

X-Men 3, Iron Man Games Confirmed

Reports that Californian developer Z-Axis is working on two new Marvel licenced-games have been confirmed, X-Men 3 and Iron Man games due out next year.

Reports that Californian developer Z-Axis is working on two new Marvel licenced-games have been confirmed with the appearance of a job advertisement on the studio's website.

"We are currently hiring top development talent to work on two major projects in the Marvel universe," the advert reads."

"Don't miss this chance to work on X-Men and Iron Man!"

The studio's previous games include Dave Mirra BMX and Aggressive Inline, and it's thought they were working on a xXx game to tie in with the Vin Diesel movie which was later cancelled because it was looking rubbish. Z-Axis also had a new IP in the works, according to IGN, which was also cancelled - all explaining why we've heard nothing of them for the last two years.

The IGN report goes on to say that several designers from the X-Men team are currently helping out at Luxoflux, since the True Crime: Streets of LA developer is struggling to fit all the new content into the sequel.

True Crime 2 is slated to launch on Xbox, PS2 and GameCube by the end of the year, with X-Men 3 and Iron Man following next year.

They just need to tone him down abit so that he doesnt come off as cheesy to the non x-men fans. For the people who know and love Gambit there will be no problem 🙂

true crime was full of bugs... i dunno how it'll work out...

We can exclusively reveal that Geoff Hubbard has signed on as the art director for X3! Geoff brings a vast amount of experience to the film having worked on over 20 films either as set designer or an art director. The most important one for X-MEN fans, being X2 as a supervising art director.

Another member of the crew signed on for X3, and better yet he was on X2 so, if anything the movie should come out great from the art department.

I read about that in the newest wizard book....phoenix will be just a character...the other characters are too important to just have Jean be the main show.

you'd think they thought that about wolverine...

I doubt it....I'm not a huge wolverine fan...but I believe he has his place...focusing on one character even one as great as Cable would be a mistake in a team movie...I mean wolverine gonna get his own movie he doesn't have to be the main focus in an xmen movie too....It's called Xmen not Wolverine and the Xmen....that's just my opinion.

i agree, but the first two films were already wolverine and his friends

the third has to be a team movie.

but he does have a gambit look to him.
and if he does get a larger role in X4 i'd be happy. if number 4 ever happens..

i agree, i think he could possibly do it, has anyone seen the elvis movie on tv? he does a good job with the southern accent, i should know.... seeing as i am from the south 😉 and i think he just might be cute enough for the roledrool

Wow...I just saw the Elvis commercial and thought this guy could be Gambit, come on there is a post about him. He has the look, but I'm hoping for a larger role than a cameo, but what can you do.
