I know they want to introduce some new characters, and that obviously the main focus will be on them, but let's face it, the Phoenix saga was probably one of, if not THE most famous X-men story of all time, so I really can't understand the idea of only having her make a cameo. X-3, in my opinion, ought to be the return of Jean as Phoenix. That should be the story. If they want to introduce new characters, then fine, but share out Wolverine's normal screentime between them. We want to see Phoenix!!!!

hmmmmmmm.

I think phoenix should be the main story of the movie, so most of it would be about her. But otherwise be like a constant theme or threat in the background, thus allowing other characters and plots the spotlight while its not about her specifically.

I agree the Phoenix storyline is good...but their are two many other characters for an xmen movie to just focus on one character.

It could be like how the original AOA-comics did it. There is an overlaying theme and purpose but the teams and characters are split up (wich is how u do a movie with this many characters) and have their own thing and angle to it all. 😄

For example:
u could have a brotherhood (incl juggy) trying to use phoenix/phoenix doing her own evil (power out of control) thing/x-men trying to help and-or kill her/scotts (and logans) minds about it/ bobby-pyro confrontation/an angel introduction (and shame-thing)/shadowcat could just be on the team/ beast introduction and research+action+humor/oh and halle is happy so storm gets to do stuff.

Maybe they should just keep jean on ice 'til x4. Give her some time to be dead like in the comics (i do mean the original one). Have a bigger focus on her then, when it can be doen proparly.
But we did see the phoenix effect under water...hmm

nah the other movie wasn't layered enough you can never have too much..if you do it right. remember the only "new characters" in X3 will be Gambit, Beast, Angel and Juggy everyone else has appeared.

how do you think i feel? cyclops was in the very first issue of x-men back in the 60s, and they still f*cked him up...

i hope they do a good gambit, as much as i dont like the guy, they should make one faithful to the comics...

so what is happening with X3, when do they start filming and do they have a new director??

i haven't been on the theard for awhile..lol
