Whedon Would Love to Direct X-Men 3 Source: ComingSoon.net Wednesday, August 11, 2004

ComingSoon.net has broken the news that "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Angel" creator Joss Whedon is interested in taking on X-Men 3...

ComingSoon.net got a chance to talk to Joss Whedon about the rumors that he may be interested in taking on X-Men 3, now that Bryan Singer is out of the picture. Whedon says that nothing has been offered to him for "X3," but if offered, he would LOVE to do the third film (hint, hint Fox!).

ok he first does Astonishing x-men good. Now he wants to do an x-men movie i dunno but if he does get on board he has to bring good writers. and i hope he does do a good job. and concentrate more on story than effects. this will be a big move for him first tv creator-movie director.

so if whedon wants to do it go ahead. knock yourself out.

This is great I'm going to the Wizard World Chicago comic book convention this weekend and hes the guest of honor maybe if I get to meet him I can ask him or someone else can about X3. 😄

I guess one thing just let to another with him from comics to movies.

i like the astonishing so i think he could do it. but who would he get as writers most likely he would get buffy or angel writers.

I think he would be better off with some new different writers.

I wish but Warner has a tight grip on them. I think the best writer would be Alfred Gough who wrote Iron Man, Spider-Man, and Smallville.

i think alfred is too occupied with smallville to do anything rite now.
