Warner and DC are jealous because they use to be the king of comic book films but now Marvel is. Now DC and Warner are just the dirt under someone's shoe.

well it looks like that from the outside but in the inside that is one vast big conspiracy which the president of Warner And DC are invovled. i bet they have an agend called "Rise of DC comics and the fall of Marvel"

They have been enemies ever since Stan Lee starting writing.

But Marvel will colbrate with Fox to take out DC in one swift move when Joss whedon does X3

Singer’s marching orders

OUT goes the director. 20th Century Fox has terminated its two-year deal with Bryan Singer and his Bad Hat Harry production company – in the middle of its first year – in the wake of the director’s signing last month with Warner Bros Pictures to direct a new Superman feature. Singer, who has begun working out of Superman’s production offices at Warner’s, has not signed an overall deal with Warner’s, though he is developing a Logan’s Run remake for the studio as well. Fox has had discussions with Singer to direct X-Men 3, a sequel to his two successful X-Men films, but it had never nailed down that deal, which wasn’t part of his overall Fox pact. Neither Fox nor Singer’s reps at WMA could be reached for comment.

I don't know if Josh Whedon can handle something like X3 but I guess we will have to see what happens. Bryan Singer is a good choice for Superman and better than the last director who was going to direct the film but WB should have gotten a different director so that least Bryan could finish the X-Men franchise.

Re: Bryan Synger Directing Superman

The story got started at IGN Filmforce, who reported that "X-Men" series director Bryan Singer had a meeting with Warner Brothers president and chief operating officer Alan Horn about possibly helming the new Superman movie, now that McG is no longer attached.

Earlier last week Superhero Hype! tried to get some kind of confirmation from Warner Bros. that this may be happening, but all we got back was a reply saying it was too early to comment on what's going on with the project.

Is there anyone in mind at Fox of whose going to direct X3 yet?

I think not yet ... ❌

no rumours either?

don't have one. maybe TheFilmProphet can tell.

About.com chatted with Whedon about the X3 rumors. "Nobody has approached me about the X-Men franchise," Whedon admitted. "Would I like to make an X-Men movie? That would be bitchin'. I actually really like those actors and I really like those characters and I think there's a lot that could be done with it and it would be a romp. But I'm not setting my sights on that."
