I don't mean the whole team. I mean that the story needs to move on beyond Logan and Marie. It's not all about them.
AUGUST 24TH, 2004 - X3 HAS A CASTING DIRECTOR?
Hmmm...take this quote however you want. The actor could be clueless of the apparent status of X3, or maybe not? You may be thinking of something after reading this but, I have no idea, so just read, lol:
"...I was surrounded by all these "A" list actors but I went in and auditioned for it [Superman] and the casting director liked me, but I think that I got to get away from all the reality buzz to be considered for SUPERMAN. The casting director is also the same one for X-MEN 3 so I'm hoping to maybe get a part in that one." - Nathan Marlow, Actor (From IESB.net)
AUGUST 18TH, 2004 - HALLE BERRY COMMENTS ON X3
Halle Berry appears in the latest issue of UK's TOTAL FILM Magazine, where she comments on her future projects and what's in store for the franchise characters she has played in the past (including Storm):
"...after CATWOMAN, I don't know how many of these women I can handle!" X-MEN 3 is up in air, despite early reports that Storm might return with a beefed-up role. Berry sighs. "I have no idea. They haven't come to me, so I honestly don't know where it's at - or if it's even going."
AUGUST 18TH, 2004 - THE SEARCH BEGINS...
Despite rumors, no one has yet been asked to helm the next X-MEN film. According to a source, some guidelines have been worked out on finding the right director for the job. The person in question will either be someone who has worked with Marvel on past movie projects, and is a good story teller with their characters, or it will be someone who has worked with the X-MEN movie producers before, and have a good working relationship with them and have a production team that they have formed over the years. Both Fox and Marvel are working on this from a conservative point of view. They want X3 to maintain the same sense of continuity from X-MEN and X2!
