i thought X2 was good. but hey if thats your opinion.

hey, im a tiny minority in that regard, to me it was a good actiion movie but a bad x movie, plus i hate wolverine, but that just me, if everybody was like me the movie woulda tanked, so lets be happy im unique.

meh, i use to like wolverine but hes getting too popular and now they cant do a movie without him.see if they did the first movie without wolverine it would have sucked.

JOSS WHEDON X3 RUMOR TRUE?

a month ago, Buffy the Vampire Slayer mastermind Joss Whedon publicly declared an interest in taking on the next X-Men movie now that Bryan Singer has traded mutants for a cape and a big "S". Was someone at Fox listening?

If the industry newscatcher Production Weekly is to be believed (and I'm told they're rarely wrong, if ever), ears were indeed open, and wise decisions were made. According to them, Whedon is onboard to direct X3, with the production gearing up in Vancouver next June.

Of course, there's currently no script, and to the best of my knowledge no major talent has actually signed for the movie (and we know Halle Berry has little interest in returning unless she's in the spotlight). But Whedon certainly has a handle on the characters judging by his excellent run on Marvel's Astonishing X-Men series, and we know from his remarkable television work that he can juggle multiple characters, so it probably wouldn't be too difficult for him to whip up a fine screenplay (especially considering he worked on the first film's script).

As a massive Whedon fan I know I'd be first in line to see it, but he's currently putting the finishing touches on Serenity, the feature follow-up to his space western series Firefly, so we'll see if he's got time for mutant mayhem.

he knows the characters, astinishing xmen is a good comic, as long as he doesnt use those costumes i think he'll do a good job

Awesome....if he does do it, that would be the best. He did a WONDERFUL job on buffy and Angel. He just will make the movie the best.

let's hope he finds the time to make a kick-a$$ movie 🤘

i heard that rumour way back in early august and te they also wanted the hellboy director to do it but he doesn't want to so he is backing Whedon. I love Angel so i know he will do a kick ass job 😊

well i think he can do it. buffy was a hit, angel was a hit, his comic is a hit i think he can do it.

He can...just look how popular Angel and Buffy were

Joss Whedon will do an excellent job of X3. I really can't wait to see the finished movie!

First off , how many here are aware Bryan Singer is off doing Superman for next year /2006 release with avery thin possibility of doing a third X flik

What would be sweet is if Whendon uses the models Singer had whipped up for the Sentinals in X3 with a shit of Sentinals getting fried by the power of the Dark Pheonix
