'Luthor Kain' sent in this awesome scoop from today's Q&A session with Patrick Stewart in Toronto:
Great news for X-Men fans! I was present for an "Intimate & Interactive" session with Patrick Stewart held this afternoon - September 25, 2004, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre at 4pm.
A fan asked Mr. Stewart about the status of X-Men 3. Mr. Stewart stated that X-Men 3 will go into production next June 2005 in Vancouver, however nobody knows which cast members will return since there is no script and director.
Well, at least the ball is rolling for X-Men 3 and hopefully a director will be named before the year ends. Thank you for your time!

Superman-V reports that "X-Men" series producer Lauren Shuler Donner, at a special Seattle's Women in Film Q&A, reconfirmed what she said previously about what's in store for the future of the franchise.
There's more good news for X-Men fans, because, Shuler Donner said that she is looking forward to continuing with the X-Men franchise and that X-3 will continue with the Dark Phoenix saga. After X-3 there may be a Wolverine movie.
Meanwhile, Shuler Donner and Stan Lee will be participating in a Q&A following a X2: X-Men United screening at the Arclight Cinemas on W Sunset Blvd in Los Angeles on Tuesday, October 19. For more information on the event click here, and if you get a chance to attend be sure to drop us a note.

Were counting down to June when they start production because thats when we wll start getting all the media coverage including pics and spoilers.
halle bery is out, and stomr will have a new actress. juggernaut is confirmed to be in the movie, no prodution was talked about if he will have the aid of CGI or if the actor has been choosen. gambit actor is choosen but the producers keep his identity in secret. hmmmmm
this makes me wonder if rogue is going to steal JN power and slam all over. this would be cool. and yes we will be seeing ice cube totaly frozed.

I am sorry, I forgot this wasn't the countdown thread and was typing stuff as if I was in it.lol.sorry. Were you confused about what I was typing? Well anyway because i did type about it, my question could still apply to the countdown Thread, cause they would have to change the number if they don't know.
