True mate but keep in mind that Singer was the only person who was keeping it true to the comics 🙂 with Singer gone they may wait until his little "Superman" movie is completed and then go full ball into X3 😄

singer didnt really when you think about it... it was more a vehicle for hugh jackman and halle berry... singer made a lot of silly mistakes imo...

ya like making wolverine the focal point of x-men one and 2

Granted but noone is going to get a comic-turned-movie spot on all the time, you have to conceder the general public as well as the comic book fans 😄

of course... but still... look at spiderman... that was more accurate imo than x-men. yes i know x-men had more characters, and some were spot on (logan, magneto, professor), others need a lot of work imo (cyclops, storm, iceman)

Cyclops needs a ton of work.

precisely... mainly the attachment of some balls would be great...

😆 and make Iceman less anoying as well,or just leave him out.

iceman is a must, just not the actor who plays him...

Iceman isn't a must,what does he really do-not much.

he does more than most... the movies ruined him... he's an integral part of the team, more-so than the likes of gambit or angel...

the producers need to sort themselves out...

I disagree Gambit could become an intergal part...as long as his chasing after Rogue...and Gambit has issues with Mr. Sinster..a big name X villian just begging to be on the big screen..you never read the trial of Gambit....it was priceless...it could be used to make ...dare I say it...I dare...a Gambit movie...maybye someday..maybe someday.

there were rumors about a gambit movie..but that was some time ago

Alan Cumming on X-Men 3!

Alan Cumming, who stars as Loki in the action-comedy Son of the Mask, told ComingSoon.net/SuperheroHype.com that he expects to start shooting X-Men 3 this summer. Cumming played mutant Kurt Wagner (aka Nightcrawler) in director Bryan Singer's X2: X-Men United.

"I signed for two films, so I'm going to. The last I heard is that we're starting on the 20th of June, but they don't have a script or a director yet so that may be pushed a little bit. But they have to release it in May of 2006 for some reason so it's gonna be shot in the summer," Cumming said.

"And it's one of these things, I kind of just want to know I'm going to do it cause it affects your whole life. You can do other things cause you know that it's a large amount of time; I'm going to a show on Broadway which I moved to January of next year just to make sure I finished X-Men…Every film you do you have to tell them just in case they're going to get it together really fast. You're under some options; it's quite weird."

After directing the first two "X-Men" films, Singer has moved onto Superman, but Cumming is surprisingly not disappointed. "No. I'm not disappointed; I cannot deny that. I think he's really talented and I'm very proud of the film and I think it's a great film. I didn't enjoy working with him on the film."

Cumming didn't really have any suggestions for a new director though. "No. My mom? It's a really hard act to follow."

He had to go through hours of makeup to transform into Nightcrawler for the last film. "I have this brilliant idea," Cumming added, "I want some kind of fabulous, crazy, terrible thing-some terrible accident happens to Nightcrawler and his face turns white."

New Line's Son of the Mask, also starring Jamie Kennedy and Traylor Howard, opens February 18th.

Oh mate you did not just say that...Iceman cannot even compare to Gambit - Gambit is more popular, has more of a history and is just a better character all round to iceman...

And if you want to argue about that just bring it 😉
