NAME...THEM...THEN! I dare you, I command you, I beseech thee! halle is just as grand as storm, but (sigh) they may not be as similar and compatible as i'd like to believe, but you must...
NAME...THEM...THEN!
Anyone else who would like to take a shot at it, try (emphasis), but remember, you address it to "Supreme Critic!"
"Supreme Critic," your just made because you didn't think of it first. "Btw," all of your choices are ridiculous (Thandie Newton? She would do worse what you say you don't like about Halle) except for Angela Bassett, which we both know was my choice... You said 5, read my post, than (its 6 btw). Take playfully.
My connection is weak, btw (i like this little 'btw,' so useful). It doesn't refresh as it should. That's why I told you to name after you did.
i said it was 6... i corrected myself... 😛
i don't see the problem with thandie newton or any of my other choices, i don't believe we can see if they're that bad oir good unless they get a shot... and bassett was suggested a long time ago...
don't worry bout it, my pc messes up too sometimes...
and supreme critic... don't you think that's a bit high and mighty to call yourself that? and i like my name just fine thx...
Are you sure you don't see a problem? They ARE worse than halle... Vendetta, I tell you! Will someone please tell him he has a problem? Basic psychology: denial.
And okay, maybe i went just a teensy-weensy bit overboard with the Supreme Critic name. I won't use it anymore, but the memories of my tyranny and brutal honesty will forever strike fear in the hearts of poor judgers! Haha! Wasn't that funny!?
Was angela really suggested? I saw her in "Strange Days" and thought she would be perfect, but I never looked back after Halle smiled in that white wig...
What Halle brought to the role is exactly evrything she should have brought to it...the passion, the grace, the command, and the compassion. her movements and inflections were on point. If only they'd give her a scripted chance...
if you could put the soul of storm in any of her would be vessels, wouldn't it be halle?

Hey-ho from surprisingly sunny England!
Have just been listening to the one and only Patrick Stewart chatting away happily to Simon Mayo on BBC Radio Fivelive over here in Blightly, while I dragged my arse home from another day’s work.
He’s currently appearing in the David Mamet play A Life in Theatre with Joshua Jackson in the heart of London’s West End - to rave reviews too!
But the most interesting part of the interview (apart from learning that he has one of every J-L Picard and Prof. Xavier action figure ever produced) was his info-update on the state of X3, the third installment of the franchise now deserted by Bryan Singer for Superman.
According to Stewart (who is 65 in July - can you belive it?), the studio are in close contact with him and are still aiming for a July start to filming so they can meet their previously scheduled Summer 2006 release date. Still no word on a director, but he is expecting a copy of the script in his hands within the next couple of weeks!
Sounds pretty good to me, although it’s going to take a very strong director to take on the franchise without ruining the excellent groundwork laid down by the mighty Mr Singer. Here’s hoping...
England’s poshest scooper,

X-Men 3 Expected to Stay in B.C.
Source: Vancouver Sun February 13, 2005
The Vancouver Sun reports that X-Men 3 will likely shoot in British Columbia again:
British Columbia is front-runner once again to land the big-budget feature X-Men 3, thanks largely to increased tax incentives announced by the provincial government last month.
"B.C. has always been a great place to make movies and the increased tax incentive program has moved British Columbia to the top of my list as a destination of choice for X-Men 3," said producer Ross Fanger in a statement released Friday afternoon.
X2: X-Men United, second in the X-Men film franchise, was shot in B.C. with Fanger as unit production manager. Fanger also co-produced Fantastic Four, the biggest production to come to the province in 2004, an off-year for the industry.
