Well I don't think so, I mean I look at myself, and when I do things for other people and I help other people out, I really do it for them, but in a way for myself because it makes me feel better about myself

No, you are letting that argument confuse you into thinking that your true aim was self-satisfaction when it was, in fact, the betterment of others and the feeling of self-satisfaction a side effect. Humans acting with selfish motives would not do things for other people, regardless of whether you feel good about it or not.
