The second best comic hero is Spider man beacause he is just a kid with a bunch of problems. Just like the most of us.

Hegemon arguement i love. THat's true. Batman is probably the only super hero that doesn't rely on specail strenght. But i don't really love him. I never saw something great in him. probably because of the movies.
I never liked any of the DC comics beacuse they wee all set in fake cities or something.

MArvel comics all used real cities. Once again they give you the feeling that it's real. X-men and Spiderman are in NEw york and i think the Hulk in California

I don't think that superhero implies superpower. It means someone who does extraordinary things using thier own unique abilities, not necessarily fanatastical superhuman abilities, not for himself but for others. But really when you get right down to it the definition for a superhero is unique for everyone. And since when has a science fiction novel ever been realistic 😂

X- men are definatley the best. Individualy they are not very strong but as team they are. The same as that other guy was saying (buffymitch?) their not aliens or anything like that its just evolution.

I think Batman is the best. He is the only character who doesn't depend on powers. Instead he uses his intelligence and cunning to defeat people who seem much stronger than him. Unlike other super heroes he seems to be more realistic, at least to me.

I agree, the realism of the Batman is the best part of his character. Plus no little green rocks make him sick 😘

And at the bottom lowest of low is Batman. I despise him

I'd be pissed too if a superhero with absolutely no super powers out shined the ones with powers handed to them(obviously the kind you like)

I think alot of people forget that there are alot of other "superheroes" out there with no powers but it's just that Batman sores so high above the rest.

So i guess Iron-Man is not a superhero either huh? He's just a guy with a heart condition in a fantastic suit. Tony Stark spends his money just alittle differently than Bruce Wayne. Green Arrow, Green Lantern(powerless without that ring), Punisher and the list goes on and on.

Like Leog14 i also prefer superman to any of the old superheroes and all that is to come that is how confident i am in the strength and ability of this superhero named superman.

The creators of superman knew what they were doing when they called him the man of tomorrow in the newspaper strip.

Forget Superman. You want your favorite to be a hero who faces everyday situations just like you in my opinion. That is why I like Spiderman and Captain America.
Also, a good superhero can defy the odds like blind Matt Murdock or someone without any powers like Batman.

Man, punisher is the best. But, he's kinda neutral on the good and bad side. He kill's bad guys, but is hated by all the super heroes. But, he has no powers, no utility belt, can't fly, see through walls (unless he has a nice little heat sensor scope), none of that crap. He just throws on some kevlar with a nice pistol, knife and a lot of big guns, resorts to his military training, and goes in. Shoot first and ask questions later. Who could be better. Oh, and sorry kaz, spidey got his ass whiped by The Russian in one of the punisher's comics (although the punisher took some punishment too before he brought him down over the 2 or 3 issues).
