You'd be surprised at how vast the Expanded Universe has become, the combinations are endless. It helps that everyone is also there purely to discuss and debate the single world that everyone is a fan of, and as most members are pretty hardcore SW fans, we mostly know our staff, and it isn't easy to find extra stuff out about certain characters etc. and sharing of information is great.

And generally PMs for things that should be handled via reports get ignored. If your reports aren't being acted on, it's probably because whoever looks at them doesn't think it's something that needs to be acted on.
Also, having just looked...there are no reports from that forum for at least the past week.
I'd like to personally request that the moderators of this forum directly address the last few reports I made in the SWVF as I fear they'll otherwise be overlooked. No matter what you may think about who I may be truejedi is someone who repeatedly breaks the rules and doesn't contribute to any of the discussions in the forum, and deserves to be reprimanded for it. I can guarantee if you look through his post count about 60-70% will consist of off topic posting, usually of the form of completely ridiculous sarcasm, as well as occasional member bashing and general hostility. He has also been trolling me repeatedly with Private Messages of the same nature as the current state of his posts (part of why I'm posting here, as you can't report private messages). Any help will be greatly appreciated anyhow...
Not that it matters, since you're banned for trolling...
But mods only have powers over their specific forums, which I already said. Once again, learn to read. I am a global mod, but I only use those powers to 1) ban people and 2) in forums that do not have any mods (OTF and GDF, mostly).
It's really not difficult. It's not our area, it's not our responsibility, we can't do anything about it, and you couldn't pay us to touch that pit with a ten foot pole.
Also, I really don't see where members get off thinking they decide what should be done about other people. Or that they make the rules.
(oh, and spamming the report bin? Very good way to get yourself banned.)
Oh, and as a general caution to everyone -
If you post something or report something, and I do not immediately respond, do not ****ing PM me 15 minutes later. Or at all, for that matter. I am not always online. Sometimes I'm out. Sometimes I'm at work. Sometimes I'm doing things where I have Firefox closed. Sometimes I'm even *gasp* sleeping!
It says directly in the forum rules to not PM us with things that can and should be taken care of via reports. I hate getting PMs. And I hate being harassed because of minor (non-existent) issues not being solved quick enough for impatient posters who cannot fathom the fact that people sometimes have other things to do.

Just to clarify, SW vs is actually Rex's area; he built the community. But Rex is very busy right now.
However, all Mr. Troll above did was deliberately stir up trouble in vs so he could then report it, despite himself being the instigator. He also did not PM me as he said he had above and there were no outstanding reports.
Best you ignore this guy; he's on course for a full ban.
