Woohoo, official off-topic thread!

I hope so. I have seriously put in hundreds of hours on 3 and the expansion packs and I'm still not done with them. (i'm OCD about seeing EVERYTHING and every sequence of events.) But I am a bit tired of the ugly grey.... and the 12 different enemies come to think of it.: Raider, Mutant, Ghoul, Deathclaw, mole-rat Boat-fly Yoa-Guai REALLY sick of the crabs....

Need some new enemies i guess.

Why do women wait until it's raining and a massive storm is about to hit to go run errands? Sometimes I think feminists really are wrong, and some women just like to be damsels in distress. ๐Ÿ˜

You're too weak and pitiful to go save that woman from the storm son.

Leave that to us men.

The storm isn't even here anymore; I beat it up in some not physically possible way like Kratos. I grabbed the lightning as it came down, rode it up to the storm cloud, then punched it to death. True story.

I really, really want it...but I should really hold off because 1) I never got around to finishing AC2 and 2) I'm trying to not spend too much money right now. Damn holidays. IT IS SO TEMPTING THOUGH. Especially since we have so many copies of it faced on the shelves behind the counter at work...it taunts me ๐Ÿ™

Yea, saving money for things you'd rather spend on video games sucks. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

I might just trade in TFU2 for brotherhood when I'm finished with it.

Considering TFU2 can be easily beaten in a single sitting, how are you not yet finished with it? ๐Ÿ˜›

A glitch. Damn batteries freezing in place ๐Ÿ™

Ahhh.

I gave up after it froze twice on me at the same point. Which was halfway through the game. After an hour of play.

**** that game, though, it's so bad.

An hour of play is half the game? ๐Ÿ˜

Wont know till I've beaten the damn thing. ๐Ÿ˜›

At least it runs on my PC, unlike TFU1 ultimate sith craptasm. The higher the difficulty, the slower it got. Couldn't even play it at all on sith master. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

And yea, nembro, it kinda is. They sacrificed a crapload of game time for (slightly) smoother gameplay.

Well, I'm guessing the remaining two levels are a bit longer. But there's effectively four levels (and a short jaunt to Dagobah in between), and I beat the first two in about an hour. While talking to Rex on MSN and texting GK and one of my coworkers. So yeah.

It's an extremely short game.

I beat TFU2 over the course of two days and I was working both days and got bored on the first day. I could have easily done it in one sitting if it hadn't been so samey as to grate on my nerves.

Brotherhood, on the other hand, is probably the best game for the rest of the year.

I'm getting my first paycheck for my new job on Thursday, have been thinking about what to buy as a congratulations for myself. Brotherhood is getting so much hype... I'm beginning to lean toward it.

The only thing holding me back is that the first two AC's bored me to shit and back.

AC2 bored you as well? D=

How the hell did AC2 bore you? I will be the first to enumerate AC1's many blatant flaws, but AC2 fixed essentially all of them and had a good, deep story with an excellent emergent developing main character.

I don't... gauge games on the depth of their storyline or the character development. I gauge books that way, and movies. Not video games though.

Alternatively, you could go with Bardock and Nemebro's fail answer and decide that I just have bad taste. You jerks.

The top part is one of the reasons you have bad taste though.

Not even, breh.

Sorry, but yeah. Ignoring that aspect of games is absolutely ridiculous. That's 90% of what makes them worth playing.

I'd say gameplay and writing in all its forms are both the most important quality of a game, IMO.
