Well if the Revan novel spoilers are true than KotOR 2 was retconned.
Well now I'm angry. π

Not to mention, the Sith Lord Sidious was the most subtle individual in the prequel trilogy. For someone who supposedly deals only in absolutes, he was a surprisingly good politician, playing the field and appeasing people through compromise. This all goes a long way toward supporting my theory that after Qui-Gon died, Obi-Wan was in a near-constant state of drunkenness for the three following movies.

Quick question on the specifics of Rule 14 on game mechanics. How do we resolve attacks, techniques, or otherwise that rely on a meter being filled? To give an example, say you need to block attacks to fill a meter, and once it's full can use a special attack. Or, you fill a meter by killing enemies, and once it's full you can use a special move. Another example, in Space Marine, Titus has a Fury meter that charges up as he kills enemies, and when it fills up he can activate Fury mode, which makes melee attacks stronger and heals him.
What I want to know is, how often can something like this be used? The meter is clearly a game mechanic, but the ability exists, and it is obviously intended to be limited as a "special" ability that isn't used constantly. I ask because Legacy of Kain features a similar mechanic, where Kain must kill enemies to fill up a meter (the in-game reason being that the Reaver absorbs blood and gets powers,) and then he's able to use things like a quick multi-hit teleport slash. Burning Thought seems to think that Kain can use this whenever he wants, but I'm of the opinion that Kain should at least kill a few people before he can do it.
What does everyone think? Opinions, agree, disagree?
So I want to try this again, but this time without the arguing.

Meh. Still feel Ewan McGregor played pretty much the best performance in the PT though.

π¬What was wrong with Kotor 2? Quality?
Honestly? Pretty much everything. Some of the characters were neat, but for the most part...that game just shouldn't have happened.
Also, **** Kreia with her "do what I do!" crap and then bitching you out when you try to do so >:{

Well you hate WRPGs, the game wasn't for you anyway. But the game was written by Avellone so its automatically better than Drew Karpyshans entire body of work. Which is just the same story told over and over again.
Yeah..... Kreia is one of my favourite characters ever. So I'm afraid we'll have to disagree on that.
Well, Kotor 2 suffered from a lot of problems. Mainly schedule, causing an entire planet to be cut along with several missions and more organic storytelling, which led to the ending which, while it should have been epic, was reduced to a pile of exposition making sense of the story you just sat through, followed by a rather underwhelming fight. The story concept could have been really good, but what actually made it into the game was shortened, piecemeal, and flawed.
I like Kreia a lot as a character, but her place in the game was annoying. Far too often, I would wish for a solution to a situation that the gameplay would not provide (usually something between "murder the peasant" and "give him my money"π, go with one of the choice-forced extremes, and then have Kreia yell at me for the choice I didn't want to make, stating that I should have done exactly what I wanted to do in the first place. It was aggravating, and hurt Kreia as a master of subtle choice by simply highlighting the failings of the game.
Soooooo, I just came across this image.

It's semi-nsfw, there's no nudity of violence but it's suggestive.
All I can say is... WHAT!?

I agree wholeheartedly. He was without a doubt the best actor of the whole trilogy, just his character was very... odd. Blame the writing, McGregor did the best he could with it.
Also, I went against my better judgment and finally watched The Lion King 3D. Ain't ashamed to admit that I shed some manly 3D tears, since the first time I saw it in years, on the parts where Mufasa died and his spirit was talking to Simba in the clouds.. Best Disney movie ever. Now, where's that guy who reviewed it badly again?

There ya go.
Only saw part 3 of his review on there and skimmed through hearing some of that. Haha, confused Matthew indeed.
Only thing I found kinda funny about the movie from a critical standpoint was Simba saying "No Scar, I'm not like you", and then telling him to run away and never return, which sounds just like Scar.
