Most of Slade's weapons are nullified by the shield Cap has in addition to his ability to dodge them or just tank them outright. Cap also has the benefit of routinely displaying skill against other top tier streets. Slade, not so much. And really, given the consistent average of Cap's feats of skills, physicality, and fights in general, I can't see either Nightwing or Arsenal giving him a fight unless Cap was saddled with really bad PIS or just a horrific low showing.

I'm generous enough to even assume that Slade at his absolute best might be as fast/strong/whatever as Cap, but he doesn't display the skills Cap has, and he certainly doesn't display physical prowess above what Cap can accomplish, imho.

He doesn't stomp Slade into the ground, but via feats and portrayals, I do think Cap wins this with more difficulty than he would beat Batman.

A lot of his higher end feats against groups and/or more powerful characters dont even involve prep. Theres a common misconception that Slades only uber with prep and struggles against street levelers w/o it. His lower showings are to blame.

Cap could evade/block his weapons, but Slades arsenal of guns,explosives,swords,staff, etc will no doubt be another advantage in that they serve as distractions and serious threats that cap must look out for.

Slade has effortlessly owned nw and harper the majority of their encounters. Hes purposely let both of them gets hit against him and laid them out in individual fights with them. Even in showings where he looked bad neither combatant actually subdued Slade with force, because they cant. Slade has stated himself that he could kill nightwing or any of the titans at any time. Nightwing has said "Slade can kill me w/o breaking a sweat" a lot of CIS/Plot Devices play into those match ups.

I actually think that nightwing could give cap some sort of struggle.....roy....hell no.

All of Slades physical atrributes sans strength are clearly superior by way of feats imo. He doesnt display caps level of fighting skill.....what he does display is a higher level of tactical, calculated fighting, which serves as a terriffic substitution.

Id Say Slade beats Steve like he beat Bruce, with a slightly increased level of difficulty due to caps physicality
