Wow. Just wow. Wasn't this around the time he was supposed to be pimpin' hoes and poppin' caps in pigs asses? I'm so disillusioned right now.

is that really him?

Has anyone listened to the new Bone Thugs in Harmony? I'm avoiding it at this point mostly because of the Akon factor.

In two minds whether to get it or not. I'll always have love for E. 1999, but I haven't liked any of their subsequent albums much, and Bizzy was always my favorite member so without him there's even less appeal.

Kanye West- Can't Tell Me Nothing

new Kanye track. the beat is sick.

wrong thread..?

He's fine Deck. Just saying that the beat is sick on the new Kanye single.

Anyone listen to Oh No's latest album. I'm loving it...it's a bit of a surprise since his freshman album was sort of a letdown. 'T. Biggums' is a lovely track.

EDIT: I agree, the new Kanye track is dope.

I know it's a bit behind the times, but have you heard Busta Rhymes' 'Gimme Some Mo'? That song is killer.

its tight
damn, akon annoys the hell out of me
with his screechy, high voice

oh my goodness
my school totally killed that one NWA song- cruisin in my 64 or whatever the heck its called

every damn person has that song on their phone and every person is playing it like 24/7

i LOVE that song, but oh my god, they just totally killed it

Interesting thread...

...and Ice T was the Radiotron Rapper in Breakin 2: Electric Boogaloo and a street mc in the first film.

Real heads would know that (no diss).

Hold on a sec, y'all. Out the blue, I just wanna switch gears for a sec and say this.

Hip Hop came outta the crucible of poverty. The crucible of injustice. And that's why most Whites hate it. The hate it because they fear it. Why because they don't understand it. And people fear what they don't understand. they don't know of poverty, they don't know of injustice, and not knowing of something is scary.

I've listened to rap all my life and have never had a felony or wanted to kill someone. I'm graduating with a bachelor's degree on the 10th of June in business administration and plan on starting grad school in Sept. and i still listen to and love rap music. And i always will.

Rap isn't the problem. It's last on the list. Out of many things, it's the parents and the individuals fault. It comes from upbringing.

what the ****..?

first off HIP-HOP isn't the crucible of poverty, idk where you got that from, it started in disco clubs and house parties, in the bronx. and i don't know of a whole lot of white people that don't like hip-hop music. i'll agree suburban kids, but.. all that other stuff, i don't know where your going with?
