This is how reality was warped around him. The earth Changed, stars dissapeared and were replaced with something completely different, Life ceased to exist. Only he his wife and his tower were unaffected because of the alterations done to them by Nabu.
This is only one of dozens of examples I could show. When Totec completely warped the reality of earth Fate was unchanged as even those around him changed. Lowly Jarred version of Fate was shown to be unaffected by reality manip on at least 4 of 5 occasions. Eric version survived the end of existence. I mean seriously it's a staple feat of the character done over and over.

That's wrong on every level.
That's a simple page composition, the artist draw it this way so we can focus the emphasis of the fight between two characters. That's basic comic book reading man.

Just ignore the fact that ive shown scans that clealry State Classic Fate can't be destroyed and another clearly stating that only after being greatly weakened is there a chance of destroying him for the first time

I'm explaining to you that the background disappearing isn't a power of the characters but a simple drawing technique to highlight the combat scene between two characters.

Instead of changing your point of view, posting proofs reinforce your beliefs.
