Because Dead Space never had space walk sections or jump scares with creepy aliens right next to you ala mimics in Prey.

Finished Metal Gear Rising Blade Wolf DLC, now onto Jetstream Sam.
Man I am liking the new moves. Double jump, air dash, and taunt are all awesome and should have been in the main game.

Haha..I got into that game strangely enough..there is something about it that I liked more than Stardew Valley (which I haven't been able to get in). I had a pretty good material creating system going on.
Exactly, I don't know if it's the 2D vs 3D thing. I think Stardew's systems are a bit more convoluted, it's less "fun". I think it's because Portia seems... more accessible, planting crops is simple and it's less micro-managey.
Portia's art-style seems hit-or-miss though, and it's a game that BEGGED to be multiplayer but wasn't.
Im not sure....I only played Stardew Valley briefly so there is a good chance I missed a fair number of systems...but I remember getting on the farm and I started to clear out the rocks/weeds and stuff. I got like 2min through it and then I had no stamina and didn't have a way to get more....
Maybe I just don't like stamina levels in games like that.
Yeah stamina seemed to go much quicker in Stardew, in Portia you can do so much in just 1 day in comparison though some people like the bite-sized days better. I personally found it really tedious because each day was like trying to plant a few crops and then booking it to a shop before it got dark, Portia is in no rush in comparison.
I'm a bit late, but finally got around to playing it. It's a pure platforming experience, and a neat little exploration of anxiety, depression, and other issues of mental health.
It can definitely be a bit challenging, but I suppose that ties into its underlying themes.
A friend and I went through the lowest difficulty campaign. It's fun....but even that level can be annoying.
I didn't help when the devs kept on ****ing up the balance. One patch increased the specials by an obscene amount. On the lowest difficulty, we were getting 4-5 special at a time.
Yeah. The acid spitters in particular kept getting us. Maybe we could have played better, but it just felt like way too many would appear too frequently. Even after lowering the difficulty, it still felt crazy.
And it didn't help the damn crows would get triggered when we're nowhere near them...

Oh yeah...both boomer type specials were frustrating.
You would get attacked by 2-3 tallboys/chargers....and then a boomer would blow up behind you...and you would always miss it because you already surrounded by low level zombies.
I played on Xbox....and using a controller to kill those damn tallboys was a frustrating experience.
I remember during one of the shitty balance patches the devs released would have you attacked by 4-5 specials, zombie hordes and then the Hag would chase you.
Tbh, not so great. Feels like a mod on top of classic Punch Out, without the 8 bit charm.
Super Punch Out was way better. Glass Joe as a difficult fight was funny though, I'll give it that.

This game is f'n fantastic. Took me about 40 runs for my first escape.
Still kind of suck at it, right now I'm focusing on being Captain America in hfil for my first Heat.
