A Trump supporter accused of storming the US Capitol and heckling police officers for "protecting pedophiles" previously served jail time after being convicted in the statutory rape of a 14-year-old girl, according to court records reviewed by lawyers involved in the cases.
Federal prosecutors say Sean McHugh of Auburn, California, fought with police as they fended off the massive mob of Trump supporters outside the Capitol on January 6th. During the scuffle, McHugh was recorded by police body-worn cameras heckling the officers with a megaphone.
According to prosecutors' description of the footage, McHugh allegedly shouted, "You guys like protecting pedophiles? You're protecting communists! I'd be shaking in your little shit boots too! There is a Second Amendment behind us, what are you going to do then?"
At this point, I am inclined to believe that everyone who believes QAnon is a pedophile trying to distract from their own crimes.
A Florida couple was arrested and charged Thursday in connection with their actions during the January 6th siege of the U.S. Capitol Complex. Jamie Buteau, 48, and Jennifer Buteau, 44, a married couple from Ocala, Florida face multiple charges.
Jamie is charged separately with obstruction of law enforcement and assault, resisting, or impeding officers or employees, as he is seen on video throwing a chair at two U.S. Capitol Police officers when he was inside the capitol building.
The document reveals that at least four tipsters helped officials identify Jamie and Jennifer. One tipster, a family member, told officials that Jennifer "changed her Facebook demographics to appear as part of the Democratic party."

A man and woman in southwest Ohio are facing multiple federal charges after they were arrested Wednesday by the FBI in connection with the riot at the U.S. Capitol on January 6th.
Therese Borgerding of Piqua and Walter Messer of Englewood both are charged with knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority; violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds; and parade, demonstrate, or picket in any of the Capitol Buildings, according to federal prosecutors.
Messer posted several selfies from inside the Capitol building, records show. Borgerding is seen in a photo on the Capitol steps holding a "Q" sign. Surveillance video from inside the Capitol shows Borgerding carrying the "Q" sign, records show, as well as Messer, records show.
