The conservative House Freedom Caucus is calling for the removal of Representatives Liz Cheney of Wyoming and Adam Kinzinger of Illinois from the Republican caucus in an effort to punish the pair for joining the committee investigating the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol.
Montanta Representative Matt Rosendale added that the pair deserve to be "eliminated" from the Republican conference, after having "surrendered" their right to participate.
South Carolina Representative Ralph Norman reportedly also shared this striking analogy: "What if you had a football game and two players, just all of a sudden, kept the same uniform and started playing for another team? That's what we got with these two members."
It came two days after Ohio Representative Jim Jordan asked, "What's the difference between Democrats and Never Trumpers?"
For starters, Kinzinger voted with Trump more than 90% of the time, and Cheney voted with Trump roughly 93% of the time.
They have simply agreed to examine the most serious attack on the U.S. Capitol since the War of 1812, at the invitation of the Speaker of the House.
That's it. That's their transgression. That's the proof that they've become members of "another team."
"What's the difference between Democrats and Never Trumpers?" Well, in the case of Cheney and Kinzinger, the difference is these two House Republicans believe in democracy, and recognize the threat the former president poses to our system of government, but on matters of policy and governing, Democrats, Kinzinger, and Cheney have very little in common.
Ronald Reagan said, "The person who agrees with you 80% of the time is a friend and an ally, not a 20% traitor." A generation later, many House Republicans have come to believe their own colleagues, who agree with them more than 90% of the time, are nevertheless traitors if they care about the facts surrounding an attack on the Capitol.
Once again, GOP lawmakers are eager to prove that Republicans are a post-policy party, and they are succeeding beautifully.
Paul Ryan: It's "Really Clear Trump Legitimately Lost"
Former House Speaker Paul Ryan said it is "really clear" that President Biden won the 2020 election, as fellow Republicans in his home state gear up for an audit of presidential ballots.
"President Trump lost the election. Joe Biden won the election," Ryan told WISN 12 in a rare interview on Monday. "It was not rigged. It was not stolen. Donald Trump lost the election. Joe Biden won the election. It's really clear," he added.
Ryan also offered a broader criticism of Trump's control over the GOP, saying, "I think we’ll just keep losing if we wrap ourselves around one person. We have not lost this much this fast in a long, long time."
Apnews distracting us from the much more divisive culture war in the Demoncrats.
Your "Squad" ijits, the ineffective Nancy Pelosi, and the centrist geriatric that is an embarrassment to the office.

He's not wrong there and it's delicious that the Right is still eating itself over Trump. Now dust off and roll out Reagan's corpse and try to eplace it with the Trumpism infection.
Trump is set to win the next election, and who do the devilcrats have now that sleepy Joe flubbed his ONE job so badly even the Washington Post is on his ass about it?
Joe was their hail mary, and it failed, brace yourself for four more years of MAGA.

13 Marines died in a warzone where our troops have been dying every year for the last 20 years and you people didn't care, only pearl-clutching just now.
But if you think that's going to get Trump reelected in 3+ years, you're wrong, especially considering the Right will likely still be consuming itself over the Trump schism, but you're certainly welcome to your wet fantasies as usual.
Even if every single one of the allegations against Trump are true (They aren't, but assuming for the sake of argument), you know how fickle the public is.
And Biden has the Post quoting him blaming the Afghan civilians for not moving out fast enough. That is NOT a good look.
Add the fact the Democrats and every left wing publication overexposed themselves with anti-Trump rhetoric, and I think you may be surprised how many simply stopped listening, or caring.

While the Republicans will certainly be pearl-clutching over it in 3+ years, the fact will remain that Biden had evacuated over 120,000 people safely out of a warzone and ended a 20 year extremely unpopular war that both the Left and Right wanted out of and that kinda has more sticking power than the minority Trumper feelings.
So the only correct thing you're predicting is that you'll maybe get to vote for Trump a 3rd time (LoL), that is if he runs and doesn't play kingmaker to a 2024 candidate.
The GOP can't even come together on Trump anymore, so should Trump run and win the nomination in 2024, he'll lose to Biden again, further salting the wound.
How is Trump gonna win when the deep state will just rig it again? I mean, have they fixed our election system yet to make it harder for dems to cheat?

That trick will only work once. The GoP will tighten up regulations so much cheating will be impossible, and the Dems will go along with it so they don't alienate needed swing voters with an admission of guilt.

This crybaby "we were cheated!" sore [butthole] loser mentality could have the opposite affect the Right thinks, especially considering not all Rightist are going along with the big lie:
"President Trump lost the election. Joe Biden won the election. It was not rigged. It was not stolen. Donald Trump lost the election. Joe Biden won the election. It's really clear" - Paul Ryan 8/30/21
Instead of driving Right-voters to the poll, it's going to drive even more Left-voters to the point that not even the Right's push to restrict voting in many states will be enough to flip the vote.
Especially, when Republican politicians seem intent on killing their own voters with COVID misinformation so they can jockey for the GOP presidential nomination.
The 2024 Republican primary is going to be an even greater bloodbath that will make the 2016 one look like a calm field trip at the zoo.
We're going to have Republicans directly accusing other Republicans of killing their own people with their anti-logic and anti-science stances regarding covid19 on national television, on top of the Pro-Trump and Anti-Trump infighting. It's going to be glorious and I'll have my popcorn buttered and salted ready to go.

Senator Pat Toomey has urged his party not to nominate Donald Trump as its presidential candidate in 2024, calling his conduct in the aftermath of the 2020 election "completely unacceptable."
"I think that the future of our party is to be a party of ideas, and not to be a party about any one individual, and I think we will learn a lot from the next set of primaries," he said.
"I think after what happened post-2020 election, I think the president's behavior was completely unacceptable, so I don't think he should be the nominee to lead the party in 2024."
