Nicholas Turturro (NYPD Blue)has joined the cast of "The Longest Yard."
Turturro will play the role of Brucie, a quarterback, which stars Adam Sandler, Burt Reynolds and Chris Rock.
A remake of the 1974 feature,
The Longest Yard will star Sandler as a convict who leads a group of prison inmates in a game against the guards -- the role that Reynolds played in the original.
